If that's true, GREAT! That was really the only one I cared about...<iframe id="rufous-sandbox" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true" style="display: none;"></iframe>

"Oh it's nothing, just teams inquiring a trade for Kyrie Irving for guys I don't want to mention. Nothing fancy..."

This guy... :chuckles:

Sam bringing closure the only way he knows how, by not answering the damn question.

Now Griffin has to rehabilitate his relationship with Jack, Deng and Zeller. I predict he'll say there was no truth to those rumors, that those players were never shopped, that teams inquired about them and he just listened; how much he likes the current makeup of this team.

Not liking it really.

Gave up quite a bit for 2 potential rentals this season.

Jack and Deng, there is nothing to rehabilitate.

Good news..
I'll come back and thank your post later when thanks button is turned back on.

Gave up bench filler and a couple of 2's. Quite a bit of nothing actually. How's Carrick Felix working out?

There is a reason you stockpile assets (picks, players with specific contracts). It is to deal them. If you don't deal them, you never improve. The Cavs did not give up too much for possible rentals. They gave up assets they were stockpiling (and not even many of them, at that) in order to make the playoffs.

This loser mentality has to stop.

it's nothing?...you can package 2nd rounders and move up in the Draft. I'm sure that's how the team got Zeller which was the 17th pick from the MAVS. You just don't keep handing out picks for rentals.

All 5 picks were extra.
2nd from Portland 2016, 2nd from Portland 2017, 2nd from Memphis, then either our own or Orlando's 2nd in 2014. Then the Kings future 1st (may not happen)

I feel like Granger barely played. Having a young guy fighting for a new deal will give the Pacers a real edge.

Cavs are on pace in my mind to make the playoffs even without Hawes. Hawes projected shooting (kinda in a cold stretch atm) may solidify the standing but you're supposed to deal assets for things that will help you in the long run.

Not sure if whatever playoff berth they get is worth sacrificing the minutes of our core group and using up some of the assets stockpiled.

The lottery protection for next year's pick was a great move by Grant here. He probably saw this mess coming.

It's not a losers mentality to look and say "I'm not sure if 27 games of Spencer Hawes is worth two 2nd round picks."

Let me just throw this at you, Pacers just trade Danny Grangers expiring for Evan Turn, Lavoy Allen, and 1 second rounder. Evan Turn is at least a restricted free agent at the end of the year. The Pacers are also trying to win a title right now. That's an "all-in" type of move.

Now compare that to what we did.
