Playoff Positioning

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Paul George is actually on par with his production already. That's insane.

Save me on the hawks legitimately losing the Knicks game

That Indiana vs Atlanta series will be by far the most interesting one in the East first round. The Pacers just won 6 in a row, 7 of their last 10, are emotionally lifted with the return of PG and have plenty of good playoff experience. I wouldn't be surprised at all if this goes 6-7 games with a potential upset.

I'm not underestimating the hawks, but neither the Pacers now all pieces are coming together just in time.

Paul George is also going to have his minutes capped at 20 per game in the playoffs. Paul George this year is not Paul George of last year.

And why do they need ONE guy to carry them? It's a team game, and the Hawks are the better team. The Pacers, while still solid defensively, cannot score. They had a hell of a time scoring last year and that was WITH Paul George and Lance Stephenson. Now they have 1/4 George and no Stephenson. We just saw them go to double OT against the Wizards, and score 98 points. Now they have to go up against an offensive juggernaut like the Hawks?

One win, max, for Indy in this series.

Because the NBA is a league of superstars, it's a team game controlled by 1 or 2 or 3 big stars. Even if Hawks make it, 7 game series.

It drives me crazy to watch Toronto falling to the fourth seed...I KNEW they couldn't win out and Chicago would, because Toronto is actually not a very good team and Chicago is. But that's exactly why I wanted to play Toronto in the second round. It's kind of a big deal that we will have to go through both Chicago and Atlanta, because they are the only two East teams with any shot at beating us. Much more important than the first round matchup.

Oh well, it's good for America, because that 2nd round series is going to be a very good one.

I can definitely see the Cavs losing to the Bulls.

I'm going to be watching so many games on League Pass tonight because of playoff implications, it'll be ridiculous.

And with Paul George limited to 20 minutes, the Hawks have the three best players in the series with Millsap, Horford and Teague. Hell, they might have the four best if you want to include Korver.

Seriously, you don't just win 60 games by accident.

I really hope that the Bulls will be 4th somehow, I think it's better face Raps or Wiz in the 2nd. The Hawks actually did well against the Bulls, so today's game is going to be interesting and let's hope that also competitive.

Hairston, Zeller, Stephenson, Jefferson & MKG all out for the Hornets.

Derozan is playing for the Raptors. They should pull off the win.

Bulls just have to beat the resting Hawks to lock up #3. If they lose, and Raps win, then Raps get #3.

I'm sure the Hawks would rather play Toronto in the second round than Chicago, so I would be astounded if they win this game.
