Gives me more confidence that Treadwell is a likely target

How amazing would this be.....

Miami wants Elliot......they trade up and take him at #8.

Jack falls to #13, we exit the first with Jack and 2 more draft picks.

Anyone think we are that lucky? Jack sounds like he may slide out of the top 10.

I entered a draft contest today and that is exactly how my mock worked out.

Do not want.

Unless Jack actually has serious injury problems. I'm not sure what to think about it anymore. Before I thought it wasn't a big deal, but now with his comments and the report of the cartilage separating from the bone, I don't know if you can take that risk. Even at 13. That would be an amazing trade if it works out and he is healthy.

But assuming Buckner or Bosa isn't there at 8, it would be a good idea to trade down anyway.

I just think at some point, you have to be able to roll the dice on his talent. Trading down would give them the ammo to move up from #32 and target a wideout. No idea if Jack got a thumbs up from the medical staff but if he did, I'd be so tempted to take him there.

Micro-fracture surgery isn't what it used to be (if that is what he potentially faces in 3-4 years). There have been numerous pro athletes who have undergone the procedure and gone on to have long careers. There's seemingly been better success in basketball vs. football but the surgery obviously can work.

Is it a sure thing? Absolutely not but that is what the medical staff is for. If they feel good about his short term prognosis and are OK with the thought of micro-fracture down the line (3-4 years from now), I think you just pull the trigger.

Guess we'll see.

Saw this posted on another forum. Just sad...

In 2011, the Browns traded down from #6. ATL took Julio Jones. The Browns got Phil Taylor (NT), Greg Little (WR), and Owen Merecic (RB).

In 2014, the Brows traded down from #4. BUF took Sammy Watkins. The Browns got Justin Gilbert (CB), Cameron Irving ( C ), and Vince Mayle (WR was cut before pre-season).
