Addressing the hole at center

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
How come I'm seeing so little chatter about Tiago in here? A starting center who is more than adequate on both sides of the ball. I feel like he'd be a great addition especially if we managed to somehow pull Patty Mills in a Haywood centered deal.

I'm not entirely sure how this would play out minutes wise as far as Mills is concerned, to add him into our backcourt as it stands.(epecially if Mo were to return) However, it would give us additional leverage for negotiations with our current free agents at the 1 & 2 positions.

The other name I've been seeing around that I would like to see in a Cavs uni is Sasha Kaun I liked that we picked up his rights back when we got him and he is now looking to make a return back to the US to see if he can cut it in the League. He won't turn a lot of heads, but is a sound defensive player with the ability to finish around the rim as well. He actually shot 69% last season from the field and 67% at the line.

I mean who's better to be Blatt & LeBrons personal enforcers than a couple 7 foot Russians?

I could be convinced of a Haywood, Kaun rights, 24 for mills, splitter? It seems to be decent value, Spurs can clear space for LMA/Gasol and the cavs can get some depth. Splitter is good insurance for Andy and Mills is obviously a great shooter.

We can use the mini MLE for a Lebron backup or a 2nd rounder for that too?

Dust this bad boy off.

With Timo getting a billion dollars from LA, and IMO Sasha Kaun being nonexistent, we need a center/rim protector.

Start shooting some ideas, Larry Sanders?

Not quite the same. We have TT who has come into his own, Love and Frye.

We need a 4th big, not a starting center.

Sanders assuming he wants to play again and is willing to play for vet min.

I would be calling the Kings about Koufas but not sure what assets the Cavs could deal for him.

LeBron said himself he needs a rim protector. None of those guys do that. Sure we didn't need ome vs GS, but that's probably the only team. We need a center during a 82 game plus playoff grind.

I don't want him but is Hibbert available?

Id believe so considering LA just got Mozzy lol

Some dude at my work thinks we can get Howard lol... Really though Hibbert would do just fine for what he would be used for. Otherwise not sure who we would target here.

I'd take Chris Anderson to give minutes while TT is on the bench.

I'd go after Larry Sanders. My number one target. I don't care Mozgov left, I said let him walk. I wish him well, I loved him, no hard feelings.

I'd go after Sanders though if he's coming back.

There was speculation he had his depression under control and wanted to come back to a help a winning team, This was a few months ago though.

I'd love him on this team. Or Motiejunas. But our cap situation is terrifying. We're pretty much restricted to vets, d-leaguers and unsigned collage players. We do have the TPE...

Yeah, he's the guy I'm most curious about...when he's right, he's the best paint protector in the league...but if he comes back, how much money is he going to look for? We don't exactly have a lot of expendable cap space...could slow down our process a bit if we wait it out to see if he wants to play again.
