Addressing the hole at center

Still shocked no one has picked up Dalembert. There must've been something going on behind the scenes. Team cancer?

Supposedly Jason Thompson is trying to force his way out of Sacramento

I realize that Haywood is old and slow, but is he really THAT horrible, that he can't even see the court for the occasional 3-4 minute spurt? Maybe even just on back to backs?

I wouldn't want him getting crucial playoff minutes, but it seems odd that he only sees the floor in the last 2 minutes of 20+ point games.

What's the name of the TV series everyone talking about these days? oohh... the Walking Dead...

I saw Khem Birch's name tossed around in these conversations last month. He's averaging 16/11/3 per 36 in the D-League shooting 70% from the field and 70% from the line. And he's just 22 years old, so it's not hard to imagine him developing into a decent bench big on down the road. Why not give him a shot with that last roster spot?

Why do people hate Blatche so much -- when advanced stats seem to love him?

Not necessarily saying we should sign him, just curious why nobody has yet.

thought i would leave this here, apparently the Cavs are interested in signing center Salah Mejri who's currently playing for Real Madrid (he can't be worse than Perk right!?):

One source confirmed the Gigantes del Basket report on the Cleveland Cavaliers' interest in Real Madrid center Salah Mejri.

The Cavs first approached Mejri's camp in December, we're told, but the talks didn't go too far because of the steep buyout in the player's contract. Cleveland's interest stands, though, and the franchise has remained in touch with the 7-foot-2 big man.

Real Madrid has a team option on Mejri's contract for next season, but reports in Spain suggest they may not exercise it. The Tunisian center, who was one of the biggest sensations in the Spanish League two years ago with Obradoiro, has not received much playing time this season at star-studded Real Madrid, who's one of the top favorites to win the Euroleague next month.

While Mejri is happy with the club, he would rather leave if there are no minutes available for him.

In an interview with HoopsHype a couple of years ago, an NBA executive said he considered Mejri "a legit backup center" in the league.

Any chance the Cavs could use their second rounder on Arturas Gudaitis? He's currently the best C prospect in Lithuania after Valanciunas. Only
21 years old but is contributing nicely in Euroleague. A good rebounder, blocks shots, lots of energy/hustle and is quite athletic.

He notorious for being a low bball iq jackass who only worries about his own stats.

Arturas Gudaitis is really raising his draft stock. Draftexpress.com now has him going at #33 to Boston Celtics. He was projected in the 50-60 range just a month or so ago.
