Mbah a Moute re-signed with the Clips.

Mir - he's a third free agent to add to your sad list. His contract was 2 yr for $4.5M (total, 2nd year player option).

I don't think Dedmon is going to be on your list...

um, not even close to how it works....so many things wrong i wont even explain.

If the cavs use each of the TPEs for a player with non guaranteed or partially guaranteed money, which they only need to use 3 of them to find 3 players that fit and add up to 5.6 million they can go after Diaw with those players. I know each have to be separate deals.

Maybe he can be their new moving pick guy and resident piss off the other team player.

Possibly but Ezili and Bogut were both very good rim protectors.

Ezili obviously had a rough finish to the year but look at how staggering this gap is:

Andrew Bogut:

Contest %: 40.2
OPPFG %: 42.7
Deterrence: 43.1

Raw PTS saved: 6.75
Pos Adj PS/36: 2.68

Festus Ezili:

Contest %: 45.4
OPPFG %: 44.0
Deterrence: 45.4

Raw PTS saved: 7.64
Pos Adj PS/36: 3.55

Zaza Pachullia:

Contest %: 38.4
OPPFG %: 51.7
Deterrence: 35.9

Raw PTS saved: 4.13
Pos Adj PS/36: 0.04

As we saw once Bogut went out, they were a pretty mortal team on defense those last 3 games.

Cavs did whatever they wanted at the rim. Zaza won't change that.

He actually makes Love playable for 20-25 minutes a game.

The Cavs will give Zaza contested shots at the rim all damn day, He sucks at finishing.

Zaza is a good fit in Golden State because passing from all five positions is a necessity in their offense.

Just because I love bashing the bandwagon Warriors fans who love the Zaza move.... :chuckle:

He's also a very average P&R player. All I can say is THANK GOD they didn't get Dedmon:

Zaza: .97 PPP, 43.3% EFG, 43.1 percentile, 128 possessions

Dedmon: 1.38 PPP, 71.2% EFG, 96.3 percentile. 66 possessions

Warriors are going to be very good but I honestly think Zaza does next to nothing for them.

He'll soak up minutes but he's a giant, giant downgrade at center for what they need.

But ultimately how does he even stay on the floor against GS? And yes, too soft, rebounding rate way to low, and settles for too many 18 foot jumpers.

Then again, he deserves a break, the poor guy had to play for Byron last year.
I'm stuck in a traditional mindset. I'd still like a shot blocker for the other 80 games in the season when one might come in handy.

I would like Dedmon but not sure how likely it is. Any word on if Frye and Dedmon have a relationship?

Alonzo Gee anyone ? :chuckle:

Did that Zaza deal eat up the last of Golden State's cap or was it some kind of exception?
