If Clemson wins along with the Washington win. OSU could be ranked 3rd or 4th at the end of the day
Still, who cares?Talkin bout right nao tho
Still, who cares?
Do you think Bama fans care that Ole Miss beat them last year?
We're in the playoffs and PSU will be getting slaughtered by somebody in a NY6 bowl.
Heard that beforeI know.
And we'll get slaughtered by Alabama. At the end of the day who cares.

Bama is absolutely beatable, by any of the four teams.
Their offense is atrocious. If any of the top four teams can stay away from turnovers, they'll hang around.
The system has always favored wins over power of schedule/body of work. Its just how it works. If you want to get rid of that system eliminate the polls until the last week of the season/after the bowls.
That said as an oklahoma fan i feel tOSU is a better team than wisconsin or penn st, in fact i think UM is a better team right now than them as well. But I do believe that winning your conference should come into play. How much it matters is up for debate, but if you arent the best team of your conference how can you make the argument youre the best team in the country? Bama is the best team in the country but had they lost today, I think there would have been a very good and reasonable explanation to leave them out of the playoff, the same that i think there is a very good and reasonable explanation to leave tOSU out of the playoff. Win your damn conference. I also think thats how the system is set up, and thats what it rewards.
I will say though if the system was designed to promote who we think the best teams in the country are RIGHT NOW its bama, tOSU, washington, and OU/Michigan. Those are the best 4 playing teams right now. But how you weigh winning your conference VS number of wins VS overall body of work is up to you.
Good chance the next time they play they have a different play caller.
That's true, they may be better by the time the playoff rolls around.
...
Good chance the next time they play they have a different play caller...or at least one who has both feet already out of the door...
