2017 NBA Finals | Game #2 | Cavaliers @ Warriors | June 4th, 2017 @ 8:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Bosh will be playing next season.

Wade can't carry a team anymore, but adding him for the vet minimum to come off your bench and score... he can do that very well.

How are you stating that Bosh will play again next season? Where exactly are you getting that from?

As for Wade, even if he comes off the bench, scoring isn't the issue right now for the Cavs. Defense is a far greater concern and Wade's defense is below average at this point. Regardless, Wade is 35 and I very much doubt that he stays injury-free for the rest of his career.

Pierce just said with KD off the team right now, Cavs are "clearly better" than the Warriors, like they weren't a 73 win team last year, and it took 4 wins in 7 games in a historic fucking fashion to beat them. As if they weren't a GREAT team already. Someone please get this guy off the camera. Pure trash.

He was never a LEBron fan so not surprised that he is using every opportunity to put LeBron down.

Well, I was talking about 2017 UFAs.

Bosh might be viable to eat end-of-bench minutes over the season, if that.

I watched CP this season and he'd be murdered by Curry. He's physically inept to chase Curry on the floor - and if we consider we'll need to move Kyrie to 2 to match up against Klay...it's not a good move at all.

If we can't bring any high caliber player, we should focus on our role players and try to find better pieces.

Cavs and Cleveland (small market) sports fans, sure. But the influence ESPN has on the general public and the people who barely pay attention to sports is astounding. Look at how the narrative has changed on LeBron joining the Heat. Barely anyone shit's on him for leaving Cleveland the way he did, not trying and giving up to the roided Magic team. The only thing they talk shit about is his choke against the Mavericks. They wish he would have won that championship for even further validation. The only way the media will hate the Team USA Warriors team, is if they lose.
Umm I'm pretty fucking sure the media and their mom's wanted to see the Heat fail hard on their ass but somehow Durant joining the 73 win back to back WCF Champions turned into a Cinderella fucking story. It's a fucking SICK joke.

The games are only close when the Cavs are working their absolute hardest to score and the Warriors are not even dropping a sweat. It takes perfection through 4 straight quarters and for 4 fucking games.

We scored 113 points tonight and didn't have a chance. It's fucked up.

Working hard is not enough, that's what I'm trying to say.
You need to have good discipline and good, smart coaching. Two things this team severely lacks.

Wise man told me that your true self reveals itself when faced with adversity. Are you really a true Cavs fan?
Yes and not a LeBron fan like most here which is why the CAVS should think long and hard about getting something for him while they can. Say you can somehow get AD for Love and LeBron.. i'd take 10 years of AD and Kyrie over another finals loss next year before lebron bolts and whatever scraps we'd get for Love at that point.

The bold is what I am failing to articulate. At the time, yeah, (about half of) people hated the Heat and wanted them to lose. But now with ESPN looking back with nostalgia goggles it's more about how the Heat, ala LeBron, underachieved with that team and how he should have won even more.

They love Curry and Mark Jackson and blah blah blah so USWarriors don't even get nearly the same level of hate spewed their way that LeBron has his entire career. There are motherfuckers who think LeBron isn't a better player than Kobe.

Firstly, LBJ isn't getting traded and we'd be stupid to even consider it.

Secondly, why would anyone give up assets for LBJ when they see whats happening to us? This league is fucked. I seriously doubt anyone can form a squad better than these Cavs and even we don't stand a chance.

Am I the only one who thinks we're playing way too fast, this is the pace GS wants to play and our guys can't defend at this pace, we need to slow the game way down in game 3 imo

Exactly. Fast paced game favours GSW as most players are out of position during transition, if they miss the three, they still manage to grab the offensive board.

Ironically getting our ass handed may prevent a team like Boston from going all in on Jimmy Butler.

I mean why even try? Keep the Nets picks and wait a few more years.

You're very likely not even going to beat LeBron for a couple more years and even if you somehow did, lol, have fun against GS!

Sure glad we got our title before they broke the NBA.

That title will have to sustain me for a while.

Other than that, it is disappointing to see so few Cavaliers show up. JR's head hasn't been in the game since his re-signing, and TT can't seem to find the phone booth where he left his Playoff Tristan suit.
