Hellickson- Philly
Happ, Estrada- Toronto
Cashner- Texas
Decent starters that would probably not cost much
Estrada is my #1, by far. Free agent to be, so he won't cost much to get, still Ks a ton of guys, and is due for some better luck in the 2nd half. Think we can get him for just 1 guy from the ~8-15 range in our farm. Someone like Hillman or Castro gets it done for us I think.
Woah...
From a White Sox perspective I'm ecstatic, 20 year old 6'4 highly touted OFs don't grow on trees. Quintana is 50-54 with a 3.5 Era, 4-8 this year with a 4.5 ERA and 1.3 Whip, CWS did a very good job here. Just a few days ago Cubs reporters were raving about these few prospects and how they'll be promoted.
Eloy will be ready in the distant future says CWS GM.
Both of the top guys they just got are at least a year and a half away. Cease probably 2+, since they will monitor him close with his health issues in the past.
Still, they'll roll out Moncada, Kopech, Giolito, and Lopez probably end of this year or beginning of next season, then trickle these guys in.
Sucks to see a franchise in our division doing good things, but it also opens our window to win the division an extra year...even more so if Detroit sells and KC loses their free agents this winter.
