Rose doesn't help vs GS either. Why not see if you can bring in an All-Star PG as part of the return for Irving? Why limit yourself in what you can get back? Do they have an understanding that depending on what we get back he could move to the bench?

Isn't Rose decent on defense? He's not the Rose of old obviously, but he's a big upgrade over Deron Williams' lazy, fat ass.
