The Official Game of Thrones [A Song of Ice and Fire] Thread (includes spoilers)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Don't forget in the books the great and famed "Dark Star" is still alive, unfortunately.

If George could go back and edit anything out of the books, I bet this loser would be near the top of the list.

As far as the show, isn't Greyworm the best warrior we've seen still alive and in Westeros now?

Lmao at "Dark Star". In his seemingly unending quest to add characters to his books (especially books four and five), Martin certainly came up with some horrible names/nicknames: the Green Grace Galazza Galare, Yurkhaz zo Yunzak, the Shavepate Skahaz mo Kandaq, King Cutthroat, and Queen Whore.

Come on, besides that corny line he had, he isn't THAT bad.

I think they will work together. Like you said Dany can rule the 7 Kingdoms while Jon rules Winterfell as Warden of the North. Jon barely has interest in being King of the North let alone the Iron Throne.

That said, it's be veeeerrry in line with the tone of this story for Dany to end up failing in some fashion. In that scenario, perhaps Jon does end up on the Throne.

If there is a throne by storys end.

Yea like, are we sure this has a happy ending?

Bran's visions, as far as we know, happen. They either did happen or will happen.

So when we see the Throne covered in snow and the Night's King walking into an empty throne room. That's going to happen....

Wait, when did we see that? Did I miss that?

Re-watching the episode. I'm torn on this Grey Worm and Missandei relationship. On the one hand, it's fucking awful, but on the other...dem titties.

Like, one moment I think the producers of this show are fantastic. The next minute, we have a 6 minute love scene between two very minor characters in the penultimate season of the show with the number of episodes winding down and a billion storylines nowhere close to resolved. I mean, come on.

Yeah. That's basically how they pay for the show, though. The casual viewers eat that shit up, and without them there'd be nowhere near enough of a budget to do this material justice.

One thing to note with Euron...the way that night ship battle was shot, it looked as if Euron's ships were arriving with a storm. There were clouds all around his ships and lightning was flashing in the background. Not sure if that was meant to hint at some supernatural abilities, but it seemed that way.

Do people realize they can type a few words into Google and see even hotter chicks fully nude and fucking?

Or god forbid they go out and get some actual ass.

It also hooks in the women with the relationship stuff.

Yea apparently I imagined it in one Bran's visions. I guess we only see the Throne room empty and covered in snow.

No I think it absolutely does. That, and the fact that he was able to just catch them in the open water in the middle of the night. That's not how Naval Battles work.

Look, when Euron says "I am the storm, the first and the last." And "I am the Drowned God," he means it quite literally, I'm certain.

Yeah, but normally I'd just assume that was the showrunners being stupid and not doing any research.

I can see thinking that and just chalking it up to Hollywood theatrics.

But not this time.

For anyone that hasn't read or wants to see what type of absolute monster Euron might be, click this link. It breaks down a Winds of Winter chapter George read last year dealing with Euron (for him Brother's POV). Obviously if you don't want anything potentially spoiled, don't click.
