Josh Gordon discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
To be fair, I'm pretty sure you've been cognizant of your fuck-ups. You seem to own them. Josh doesn't own anything and his vice is freakin' marijuana.
Man but I didn't. Haha.

I feel most fail to see what is causing JG to fail all these tests.

My guess is he suffers from clinical depression and all of you are jumping on him like he is the worst human being for having a legit medical issue of the mental variety.

This is where the NFL is so behind the times with their treatment of mental illness. I refuse to hate a guy whose only crime are against himself and i feel 100% needs professional mental health not in a joking manner.

I really feel sorry for the guy. If he was some star in a desk job, he would get the help he needs, but because his talents are in the NFL he is labelled as the worst human being ever.

Does checking yourself into rehab count as owning your mistakes?

Not if you come out and still blame the Browns for your issues. Guy went to rehab because his fall-guy got busted with a pound of weed in Hopkins a week before he was about to be reinstated. Then went again for reinstatement.

Jonny Manziel checked himself into rehab as well.

Can we stop citing this "busted with a pound at Hopkins" story. I think there have been enough verified fuck ups from Josh Gordon that we don't need to use manufactured stories

Best one by far is still the one from college.

He got busted because he was so fucking high that he and his friend were passed out in the drive through line at taco bell.

Being mad at JG is like hating Cheech and Chong, lol.

I just don't understand the NFL's larger stance on marijuana.

Given the scientific benefits for chronic pain, it would make sense that guys like professional football players could potentially benefit from the league removing it from the banned substance list.

There are ways to consume it that are far healthier than popping all the prescription pills the NFL hands out like candy......but what do I know. :chuckle:

There are ways to consume without getting "high"

Every way you consume it is healthier than taking opiates.

I have some ocean-front property in Idaho. Interested?
I'll wait for you to post a source verifying your claim...

In the mean time:
http://www.tmz.com/2016/09/30/josh-gordon-screened-by-tsa-last-night-but-no-drugs-found/
and his posse were stopped by TSA at a Cleveland airport with a pound of weed is completely bogus ... this according to TSA sources.

Theoriginal Scout.com reportclaims Gordon and his security detail were detained at Cleveland Hopkins airport after screeners found the pot in checked baggage. Gordon reportedly denied the pot was his. The report says this was the incident that led toGordon entering rehab.

But our TSA sources tell us, "The reports you're seeing are totally false."

One highly connected TSA source explains, "Gordon was screened by TSA last night (Thursday) without incident."

The source also says there has been no TSA trouble with Gordon recently. We also spoke with the Cleveland PD which also shot down the report.

Feeling sorry for Josh Gordon? No thanks. He fucked up his own life by being unable to follow basic rules (although stupid) that the rest of society also has to follow.

He has himself to blame and himself alone. Nobody should feel sorry for him.

So, I don't much care about Josh Gordon, nor do I have faith that he'll be reinstated.

However, that didn't stop me from adding him to my bench in the ol' fantasy league yesterday (until bye's catch up with me) juuuuuuuuust in case......

Because as much as he pisses me off (and probably the organization), I'd rather see Josh Gordon's rusty ass running routes out there for the Browns right now than any of these other losers. For nothing else, do it for Kizer. The poor kid has no one to throw to. Our receivers look like a bunch of retards trying to hump a doorknob out there.

You are right, he messed up, but one of his busts was for drinking on a plane to vegas, and 2 of the busts were from random drug tests because of a misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He has been under a much tougher microscope than the rest of us, no way do i have to live by those rules.

That said, he was lucky enough to play in the NFL, not be a loan officer.

I just feel if the truth were made public of his struggles with depression you would feel a bit sorry for him. I really dont get the hate for him vs how others are given a pass.
