Josh Gordon discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I do not share your optimism with this guy. We haven't heard much about him and his recovery. I hope he comes back but based on what we've seen from the kid thus far, the odds are against him.

Poor Josh. Everything is working against him; none of it is his fault. He just surrounds himself with bad people in a bad City with cops who hunt for and frame him, on a team that is at fault for his issues, in a league with terrible rules for him who employs people who are terrible at administering drug tests. Now, they've got him wrongfully in rehab to work on an issue they think he has. This is all not his fault! Damnit Rosenhaus, why can't you fix this!?

:chuckle:

I too feel bad for Josh, not as much as that one guy, but I realize there are humans with flaws behind the helmet and pads.

It is weed and alcohal that got him in trouble most of us smoke weed on here. I get he had allot to use, but from what we here he has anxiety issues and was self medicating.

Its not like he is beating women, or getting in fights, etc. I wont lose sleep over Josh Gordon, but many on here severely exaggerate how bad of a guy Gordon is.

I'm sure I've said it before in here, but the weed doesn't bother me. It's the complete and utter lack of personal responsibility; Josh Gordon has never owned any of his issues. It's always the fault of his environment & that's just a shit excuse that dopes use to make it seem like they're giving sooooo much.

He’s out. Just posted a video via Snapchat. Video shows him looking as if he is going to train for football or something.

FWIW, some guy on reddit who claims his "good friend" is in rehab with JG said Josh told him he would be reinstated on Friday.

I figure if we've tracked planes and staked out fast food restaurants in the past, reddit rumors are fair game.

With as bad as our receiving core is, we should vote on if we would accept Gordon back.

I say yes, its a pro sport and talent is needed at his position.

Man I want to agree with you, but I honestly feel lucky that I beat it. Your brain lies to you, you fuck up.

I agree.

What kills me was seeing and hearing people label him as some absolute failure in life and a "drug addict". That supposed "drug addict" is the commonly used drug in America today, both of them. Lets not act like we don't hear 10x worse things coming from other NFL players.

I just hope he has it in himself to return to the talented JG we remember from 2013.

He's still young and he looks to be in amazing shape. I hope this regime gives him an actual fair and legitimate opportunity to show himself. He can fill in a much needed void in the WR core.

Lets hope for the best.

He's not a failure because he smoked weed. He's a failure because he was too fucking dumb to pass the drug tests that all the other players who smoke weed pass with ease.

Nobody in the media talks about his ill advised reasoning for failing his test. That's not what their bringing up any time they bring up his name.

They're talking about the weeeeeedddda.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure you've been cognizant of your fuck-ups. You seem to own them. Josh doesn't own anything and his vice is freakin' marijuana.

I assume if re-instated he will still have to serve a suspension?

League can consider missed games to satisfy a suspension.

Maybe they would tack on a few more but my guess is if he's reinstated it will be effective immediately.

Josh is an idiot but I still think it's comical he's been out of the league this long.

Brian Cushing is cheat and PED abuser who could be back on the field before a guy who just likes to smoke weed.
