I want to see how he plays in that role somewhere else.
People have been saying this every year and he’s never lived up to the initial optimism people have had.Does anyone else think Shump is going to look WAY WAY better this season?
He seems so much more motivated than ever before.
If worst comes to worst can we just cut him? Preferably we would be able to trade him, but I really don't want to go into the season with him on the team. We have a solid group of guys who all seem motivated to win a ring. I don't want him around screwing up the chemistry.
It's not my moneyHe’s owed like $21 million. Put the crack pipe down.

So you explained year one... and you explained year three. What about his other super shitty year here?Year one was him coming off injury, last year he was playing out of his role because Kyrie injury, and this year Lue said he has a specific role for him. He is healthy, wont be playing out of position, and have a role carved out for him.
I want to see how he plays in that role. If he plays good, I’m sure his stock will rise again and he can be traded.

Kyrie missed time in the '15/'16 season. Not so much last year.
Wasn’t Kyrie out some last year and Shump had to play pg? Either way, I’m still interested in seeing Shump play his role with everybody healthy.
Watching Shumpert trying to dribble the ball is cringeworthy. We should consider it a lost cause.
He hurt himself getting bricked by the rim. I’ve never seen someone blow so many layups in a cavs uniform.
