I'm in my chill mode as a fan. I'll check things out after the allstar break.

The sack riding for the Celtics is disgusting on here

I still think the coach is key for the other 14 guys. We've seen LeBron teams that work hard. Hell, before we switched coaches to Lue, we were on track for like 64 wins. And that half of the season hasn't looked anywhere near as ugly as when Lue was coaching. Even the playoffs, we swept every single team we played in 2015 minus the finals and it was just LeBron and a bunch of scrappy guys killing it. The most consistent I've seen JR and Shump play was under Blatt. I'm convinced we could have won a championship easier with Blatt as the head coach in 2016. Just by watching Lue coach, you can tell he would be the worst motivational speaker. Getting off to the terrible starts makes it seem like Lue doesn't know how to get guys fired up.

Um, most of what you said is true, but ironically, Lue kept Blatt from putting us down 3-1 against the Bulls in 2015 with the timeout flub - although I still think we win that series - and Kyrie was available for the first 3 series of 2015 and I don't think would qualify as part of a "bunch of scrappy guys."

It also ignores that Lue is the one that created all the defensive gameplans under Blatt, and he's been phenomenal in the postseason as a head coach.

But whatever, people are going to believe what they want to believe.

I think Cavs fans values regular season success a little too much now, I guess they want to go back to Mo Williams and Delonte West's 60+ win teams that did nothing in the Playoffs but lose to Boston and Orlando.

I'd rather have great postseason success than 60 win teams anyday. LeBron knows he can win on any floor there is, in any arena there is...

Go ahead, let the great Stevens coach his way to 80-2

I'm not looking to make this an argument that Lue is good - although I maintain he outcoached Doogie Howser in the 2016 finals - just because Bron and Kyrie were superhuman on their own doesn't mean he didn't make as many stupid mistakes like putting Uncle Festus on Bron and giving Varejao too many minutes.

Just correcting the falsehood that the 2015 Cavs were 12-0 in the East playoffs, and the implication that their Finals lineup that year was who they also fielded in the East playoffs.

Trainer: “Alright Kyrie, we’re gonna ask you some concussion protocol questions. What shape is the earth?”

Kyrie: “Round.”

Trainer: “Fuck. It’s worse than I thought.”

So why not give him the reigns with the defense and bring in an offensive coordinator. You honestly have to try to be this bad at defense consistently...

I understand to a degree because Bron still puts up heavy minutes, "coasting" or not, and historically teams with lower point differential and low-50s type wins have fared very poorly in winning championships.

The Celts' streak will probably come to a screeching halt Thursday at the latest, anyway.

Stevens is some kind of God send, he can turn any wrong into a right. The road to 80-2 continues.

Maybe Kyrie shouldn't get too much of the credit for Boston's winning streak. Haven't really missed much of a beat without him.

And now they'll lose to the Russell-less Nets probably just to spite us.
