Just to keep in mind is that Jay Wright, Villanova's coach is an excellent coach that puts his players in a position to succeed. In the last 15 years Villanova has significantly overachieved with players that were not even close to NBA worthy. The only two NBA players worth mentioning are Randy Foye and Dante Cunningham... others never even stepped on an NBA floor other than Darrun Hillard, Daniel Ochefu, Ryan Arcidiacono(only played in preseason for the Bulls) , none of them are on a NBA roster, and Josh Hart who currently looks pretty bad compared to how he looked in college.
Wright runs an offense similar to the NBA today which invovles a lot of cuts, 3pt shots and generally try to either get a high percentage shot at the rim or go for 3... no real inbetween game.
Wright makes players look better than they really are in terms of efficiency and eye popping advanced numbers. He runs the ultimate system for his players to thrive in... just to keep in mind.
Good, salient point.
Foye, I always saw as flawed/destined to have a mediocre ceiling due to being a chucker, being a little heavy, and being a tweener PG/SG. Not as familiar with the other guys and how they looked while at Nova, though certainly none of them were drafted near as high as Foye.
What is Bridges working with physically? Does he have the body/measurements of the type of player who's game translates to the position/role he'd be asked to perform in the NBA. I know some of this I can google, but I'm pretty sure you watch more NCAA than I do, so wanted to ask your opinion.
