We know the Cavs are good enough to win the East...that's not the issue.
With LeBron James the one goal should be a championship. The sobering reality is that we can't even play on the same court as the Warriors as presently coached and constructed. Some would say (fairly) that Durant made competing with them impossible, but I do think the development of good habits and the integration of the right personnel could give us a puncher's chance.
These guys should KNOW how razor-thin the margin for error is against this team; they came out and fucked around all last year, breezed through the East and got embarrassed in the Finals. The "switch flip" works in the Eastern Conference, it won't work against this team.
So we're at a crossroads. Either we're content with beating up on the East and being made the Warriors' bitch, or we decide as organization that we want to take the fight to them. If it's the former, then you're making it difficult for LeBron to want stay here any longer (even though he's part of the problem.) If it's the latter, then we need to make changes. It's that simple.
