I would pay to not attend Browns games. It’s almost always a shitty experience. Maybe when they’re good I’ll change my stance, but I hate watching the Browns live. Takes so much more time of my day and money when for the last forever you know the result going in
It’s pretty fucking sad that by far my favorite team of the 3 I haven’t seen live in 3 or 4 years By choice
Browns games are worthwhile just for the experience, my man.
I was front row, 50 yard-line a few years ago when we blew the Indianapolis game last minute (25-24). We were 7-4 or 7-5 and still clinging to a shot at the playoffs then.
Billy Cundiff missed multiple field goal attempts.
He's over there, head down, and a few fans beside me kept yelling at Cundiff,
"BILLLLLY. HEY BILLLLLLY! Don't kill yourself, man. It isn't worth it. It's just football."
He turns away from the stands with his giant jacket on, clearly upset and clearly heard them.
Just then, that stupid Brownie the Elf mascot goes trotting by. Some guy start yelling,
"Hey Brownie! Brownie come here!"
Brownie sneaks up to the edge, the guy says calmly
"Brownie, will you go talk to Cundiff? I'm pretty sure he's going to kill himself."
That dopey elf strolls over, pats Cundiff on the back twice, looks back at the stands, gives a thumbs up, and then skips off.
Cundiff turns around pissed and flips us off. Wish I had my phone out to get a picture of it.
Good times.
Sigh... I wonder if Billy Cundiff ever got the help he needed.
