2018 Cleveland Browns Off Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Who wants Dez Bryant as a 4th WR?

That Dallas WR group is U-G-L-Y.

Move within and outside to pocket...?throw on the run....? Create...?

There is a lot that Sam Darnold does better than Josh Rosen.

People keep saying Darnold moves in the pocket better, and I agree he's "faster" at moving around the pocket.

But Rosen is much cleaner, able to climb and keep his feet in a better throwing position, whereas Darnold winds up off-balance quite a bit in the face of pressure.

You can't get away with that at the next level as much as you do in college.

Would someone mind explaining what Darnold does better than Rosen?

This will probably be an unpopular opinion on this thread specifically, but I think when Darnold's mechanics are in order he throws with better anticipation and timing than Rosen. I think Rosen, despite much cleaner mechanics, still needs to see guys come open more than Darnold does. I also think Darnold is more functionally athletic and has much more natural ability to make plays out of structure.

Where Rosen has a significant advantage on Darnold right now is play-to-play consistency due to superior footwork and lower body mechanics.

I know many of you won't agree, but I think Darnold's very best throws are better than Rosen's. I just think Rosen can make his best throws more often than Darnold can right now based on superior mechanics.

I'll readily admit that Allen's very best throws are better than both of them, but he's only capable of making those throws a fraction of the amount of time that Rosen and Darnold can make theirs.

I had a season ticket holder dude contact me and ask me if I was gonna re-up for this season. So I started asking him some stuff just to see what's up and guess how much a suite cost for the season?

80k? 8k for each game

Corporations use it as a tax write off

I was invited to The Indians game last week against DET with some co-workers. It was the game where the bats came alive and the weather was really nice. The company that invited us owns the suite next to where The Dolans sit. I was sitting right next to the team brass.

It was freakin nice. The suites at Progressive and the service is levels above The Browns games. I've sat in a suite one time for a Browns game and I've never been in one for a Cavs game. The Indians really do a great job throughout the stadium with their customer service. very friendly environment and it just felt very comfortable there. One thing that stood out was how clean The Jake is. For a professional baseball stadium it's a bout as clean as you can get. Very organized to. I don't know if it's because it's football or not but The Browns games can be very messy and very smelly lol.

Right now I would have to give The Indians the edge in customer service and viewing experience. Cavs second and The Browns are third. Really the only advantage The Browns have is that you can get in most games for under $15 and you can find a parking spot on the street at a meter since it's free on weekends. That's about it though.
