2018 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I don't think some people realize how often DL are rotated in and out over the course of a game. Those three guys with fresh legs all game is a nightmare for the opposition.

This is what I thought/was thinking. I don't see any reason why having all 3 of those guys wouldn't be a huge weapon for this defense.

I still can't believe that was his VERY FIRST NFL play.

I am so glad we got him.

Just stay healthy, kid.
I called that play right away. My dad was talking smack about him and how he doesn't believe he would be that good. 12 seconds later he was buying me a beer because Garrett made him a believer in just one damn play.

This is another reason why I really want Chubb. He and Garrett.. This reminds me of the 49er years where they had a great line and defense and that's a major reason why they had success.

I'm so done with teams running wild on us and quarterbacks having all day to throw. There is absolutely no chance in hell these QBs will have time to throw if we had Garrett and Chubbs to hold down an already good line.

I'm almost to the point where I just wanna get the first pick over with and get me to number 4 already.

Still think we go Darnold then get lucky and see Chubb there once the Giants take Rosen or Barkley.

Shoutout to Houston for tanking hard for us. May have changed our franchise with their tanking effort.

Whose idea was this cover? He looks likes a refugee from a late-90s power-bottom porn.

"Bottoms Up. Baker Mayfield Takes Charge."

Giants are all in on Barkley or Chubb and I think it is Chubb. They are trying to work a trade where Buffalo picks 1--Allen Cleveland 2--Darnold, Jets 3--Rosen and them 4th where they get choice of the 2. They don't want to move below 4.

I really thought the first 4 would be QBs but if giants have their way it will be 3 and the 5th pick will be the focal point of the draft. Does the Broncos take Barkley/Chubb or trade to someone who wants Mayfield. If they take Chubb/Barkley that puts the Colts in a great position to trade down to Arizona or Miami.

I think this is pretty smart by the giants. they are getting the player they want and some extra draft picks. it is kinda hurting the Brown's getting max value out of the 4 if they wanted to trade down.

I really doubt a 3 team trade happens involving the teams picking first and second both moving

Where did you see this? It seems like a whole lotta smoke

There is certainly no legs to this. Like, if Buffalo wants Josh Allen, they could take him 4th in a deal for less.

Cleveland isn't taking him, and New York isn't either. If that's their aim it makes even less sense to me.

It was yesterday or the day before after the big rumor of Buffalo offering 2 first, 2nd or 3rd and a future 1st for the 2nd pick. It makes sense if you believe the rumors of Buffalo are all in on Allen and the Giants want Chubb/Barkely. The giants also could be saying they want those 2 to get more from someone who wants to trade up.

Cleveland has a choice of calling their bluff and make them draft Chubb/Barkley at 2 and this makes the 4th pick very attractive to Buffalo or working with them to get the extra picks and giving Giants something in return.

You know how the Browns could stop it from hurting the trade value of 4? DON’T MAKE THE TRADE. Where did this stupid rumor come from anyways? We’re going to give up 4 and drop from 1 to 2? Are we getting like 10 first round picks back?

What makes you so sure we aren't taking Josh Allen? Please convince me. Please.

There just isn't any sense behind taking him. I don't think that has been stated enough.

His skill-set simply doesn't warrant being considered better than any of the others.

Beyond that, the overt attempt to publicly state that they're interested in Allen is indicative of how Dorsey has operated with respect to the pre-draft process.

It's a super "out there" idea and a useful endeavor to claim interest in a polarizing prospect.

At the end of the day, Allen will go 4th or worse and we'll all realize the wasted minutes spent discussing him were for naught.

Anyone else find it odd that the group representing Hue is doing this?

Meh...doesn't really matter what his agent is telling him. Say what you want about Barkley as a prospect, but he's a very high character guy and there's no way he refuses to play for a team that drafts him.
