The point still remains. It’s not a stat with any sort of significance.
- or no gain on 23% of your runs but you still have one of the best season as a RB ever? When you have the physical abilities of a Peterson or to a lesser level Barkley you’re still going to hit decent and even long runs.
Not worried about that statistic in the slightest and I don’t think Barkley will be even close to those statistics (23%) this year unless he’s with NYG.
Well no, it doesn't stand, and you were wrong.
But....
He had one of the best seasons as a RB ever?
He ranked 28th in the country in rushing yards, 9th in TDs and not even in the Top 40 in YPC. He had five 100-yard games.
His receiving was good. Not historic by any stretch.
Comparing him as a physical runner in the caliber of Peterson is grossly wrong, but you're just saying ridiculous things at this point.
