Back from lunch boys. I can't believe we are worried about if someone puts down Midwest as where he is from. I am a history major, I think I know where Wyoming is. That is pretty weak to have to pick at that, but if I have to bring my IQ down a few notches to fit in I guess I can do that.
We need to know how far in the family tree your region deems acceptable for marriage or just FWB type of situation.
Kidding........ no really. Or not. Testing your humor gauge
The other part of your post seems reasonable. I watched maybe 8 games of Allen, maybe 10, I ain't kept notes for myself in a few years, so I speak from a watcher who would like to truly understand why you feel like you do for Allen. Me personally, I feel he is better suited to Not go in the 1st round unless it were for a team like the pats or Stealers. Even then, he needs some major work. 2nd round is more reasonable with where I think his strengths and weaknesses are. You know, my opinion. And yes I am an expert scout, just like the other million that scout from their couches or if duty calls, the bathroom
I see a lot of Derek Anderson with this kid. Can throw a country mile, but the short and intermediate passes are going to lose you the game.
I was severely unimpressed with his combine performance. Yeah, I know, it was the combine and all the receivers were new to him. I actually like that aspect of the combine, because it gives us a chance to see how quickly the qbs process how the receivers are moving and if the qbs can adjust their throws. Allen didn't impress me as I saw receivers who would be facing big injuries coming across the middle with his placement.
I wish the kid nothing but the best, as he seems like the ideal ideal prospect with his character. But, I agree with you, I don't see him becoming successful for the browns because we don't have the luxury of waiting 3-4 years before he should be the face of a team
