So Long Jordan Clarkson ( aka Chucky McJumperson)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
JC isn't even scratching prime Manny Harris numbers this Playoff run up to this point... :chuckle:

Man, if only...

A) The tunnel vision wasn't real
B) He could provide efficient or even just solid scoring from the bench without being ball dominant/high volume
C) Defense?
D) Was out of the rotation (we've seen that occasionally, but he's replaced with Hood who has had his own issues)

I've just about seen enough of Hood+Clarkson these playoffs, but there's still that "what if" factor. Unfortunately, there really isn't much time to spare to keep waiting for that hypothetical.

As for positives, I can say that at least he keeps the man that's guarding him somewhat busy, because he knows JC is about to either drive or pull. But man, how easy is it for the help defense?

I'm just sitting here hoping for the best. Hopefully it includes some of these guys breaking through. But, come on, man!

My only hope for Clarkson is that LeBron decides to break him by taking the ball out of his hands for all the regular season. I think that's the only way he figures out how to play effectively. Basically relearn the way he plays the game.

I have more hope for Hood. A better coaching staff will find his spots and plays that he runs well. We see flashes from Hood where you can see a 17 pt per game scorer.

This all the way around. Clarkson is WAYYYY out of control. Doesn't seem like he can finish and also doesn't look to pass. He gets the ball and 90 % of the time he's bound and determined to shoot the damn thing.

Hood is a player, and he can create his own shot, and I really like him. He can hit the 3 but also has a nice mid range game as well to him. It's really too bad how Lue hasn't been able to put Hood into the best possible position to get the most out of his abilities. I thought for sure, this was one guy that would flourish in this offense run by Lebron James. I envisioned him just knocking down 3's left an right because he would be so open. I thought he was going to be another floor spacer on the court, however it appears our dumbass coach doesn't know how to utilize talent when he has it.

In my mind Clarkson can be more useful than Hood. He pkays d at least, and if he could just make a couole of minor afjusents he would be good .

Biggest problem i have with Clarkson is not taking it to the basket. Exemplified last night when Cedi got him the ball way ahead of everyone and he ended up taking a contested 3. Should have driven to the basket, no one in front of him.

Hood is just soft and can't get his shot up fast enough

What's frustrating is knowing that Clarkson can shoot, but since the playoffs have started, in the words of Chuck, you couldn't get a pen up his ass with a jackhammer.

He's clearly pressing. He's searching for his game, anything to get himself going. He does a good job of getting to the rim, but it takes him too many dribbles and he takes such f'd up angles it makes finishing even more difficult. Frustrating to watch.

Just need him to get hot for one game on the road if he gets any tick...

Guy should get about 30 MPG.

Next regular season.

If LeBron leaves.

All at SG. I wouldn't let this guy run our offense even if we were tanking. Let Cedi, Hood, and 2 undrafted rookies run the point for this team. I'd even let Nance run the point like Draymond over watching Clarkson handle the ball.

He needs a ton of structure because his basketball instincts are just not there.

He has a high motor and the tools, so there is some hope. If you put him with Stevens for example I think he would win 6th man of the year, but in our freelance offense it brings out all of his worst habits.

God damn do I hate this dude and he's on the books for two more years. We should've gotten a 1st rounder for taking his contract

Makes me miss Flip Murray

I actually forgot we have Calderon rotting on the bench, a PG that can hit open 3s and run an offense, who needs that when you have this stud right Lue...

I guess retards gotta stick together, Lue Green and Clarkson really know how to communicate with each other, that’s a combined IQ of -1500 right there.

His basketball IQ is just so damn low...he's gonna be a helluva tank driver next year.
