LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The risk is if Lebron and George see Kemba as too Kyrie-lite and taking on Batum's contract as irreparably handcuffing the roster. Lebron thinks more like a GM than the average NBA player. It all comes down to if Lebron during the season lobbied for Kemba or not. Lebron has been open with Cavs management with which players he wanted to trade for. If Lebron never lobbied for Kemba than you try to flip Love for George first. Besides, GM Lebron knows that the Kemba trade will always be on the table since he knows no other team would give up their lottery pick and accept Batum's contract for Kemba. I'd rather have Beal than Kemba, bigger and longer.

Beal would be better than Kemba but I don't think the Wizards drop him for a #8 pick, and the Wizards have no bad contracts to get rid of.

Kemba/Batum are only worth taking on if you can get PG III for Love, so that deal has to come first. But if you can get PG III then I think Kemba/Batum become worth it. Remember, in a vacuum Batum is very overpaid but he is still an upgrade over JR and Clarkson for the SG position, who together are making more than Batum (!).

Agreed, that was probably one of the reasons why he chose to totally screw the Cavs when he left for Miami (and probably instructed Bosh to do the same in Toronto). He didn't want Miami to give up any assets. It was cold blooded as fuck, but it helped them win 2 titles.

I know you don’t want him to leave. I don’t either. But I see a lot of self-deception reminiscent of 2010. Just sayin’.

Also, current Vegas odds on his landing spot.

Lakers - 7/4

76ers - 11/5

Rockets - 5/2

Cavaliers - 5/1

Spurs - 8/1
Oh I think he is also even though I feel like we could certainly win it all with the addition of Walker and another veteran wing 3 and D guy .. I'm just saying breathe my friend and let it all play out

Hell even just by adding Walker and Batum there is a good chance we are up 2-1 heading into game 4 this year and LeBron doesn't have a broken hand

Most of those vegas bets are probably coming from LA. I don't think there is one person over on the LA forums that doesn't think LeBron to LA is a done deal.

Not gonna lie, the LaVar-LeBron feuds would be amazing.

Something tells me, if lebron joins the spurs, that the warriors would focus on the guy wearing 23.. but it’s just a guess!
Time to stop guessing then because that's way too simplistic of a take. Focusing on 23 doesn't mean LMA gets it easy scoring from the post (emphasis on the post as that's the aspect i was responding to). Especially since they defend LMA with single coverage.

He is def a better midrange shooter than bosh and with a lineup of Murray, green, LMA, and Kwahi is dangerous in itself. Adding lebron would mean everyone in that lineup is able to space it for lebron to work.

There’s no TT or Nance in the game (who have their merits, but no spacing).
Pop, Kerr, any good coach wouldn't have played TT as much as Lue did. Totally killed us the last 2 games of the series.

Are we overlooking John Wall?

Klutch Sports connection
Wizards seem ready to break up Beal/Wall
Wall's play style probably is only good for 3 or 4 years so the Wizards may look to move him over Beal.

if he is leaving, I would do a sign and trade for Hayward, better than nothing. Then move Love for a PG
I mean it makes sense...

However, I remember the last time Danny Ainge made a deal with Koby Altman.

What is your proposed trade for Kemba and Batum? Does it include Clarkson?

I honestly think lavar is a legitimate reason for lebron to stay away from the lakers

If LeBron goes to LA, I just don't see Ball there. LA would likely end up with CP3 one way or the other, so Ball becomes expendable. I believe he'd be used in a deal to land that "3rd" star....likely PG or Kawhi, IMO.
