Tyronn Lue has been fired

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
To be fair he said he is going to implement a system and get the guys to play d.

I just don't know tho. He makes so many gut decisions that are wrong. He played TT and Green together a lot and said he liked their physicality. Everyone could see it didn't work and numbers guys her eon the board posted the proof of how bad the offense and defense were and Le kept playing those lineups.

I think we are going to be horrified about how he leans on the vets.
that proof was a small sample size. the larger sample size showed Green and TT as plus lineups.

The majority of Green and TT's minutes on the court together were saddled with hood and Clarkson who typically struggled as a unit regardless who was out there.

Statistically Hood and Clark combo rate far worse than any other combo.

the issues with TT and green on the court were manufactured and more of a manifestation of anti TT bias than actual production and play.

HE.
WAS.
NOT.
COMING.
BACK.

MOVE. ON. WITH. YOUR. LIFE.
Writing in all caps doesn’t address any of the arguments I’m making.

You said yourself he wanted to play for Mark Jackson in 2015.

What in your opinion had changed?

Do you think he no longer wanted to do that?

When the greatest player of all time walks away from the team, it’s important to understand why he did so imo.

We do understand why -- because he had a hard-on for the City of Los Angeles, and the opportunities it offers to "expand his brand."

If you notice, LBJ went there even though Mark Jackson wasn't the coach there either....

Because he wanted to raise his family, start a non-basketball enterprise and call it a day. This is the move a player makes when they're on the verge of retirement, not a move you make if you're ring chasing.

This has been discussed en mass on repeat over the past couple of weeks. He's playing with a less talented team, but one that just so happens to be in a bigger market. He has Luke fucking Walton as his HC now.

NBA Beat writers have said this. Cavs beat writers have said this. Lakers beat writers have all said this.

This is beyond simple. The Cavs spent an insane amount of money to get him in the position of being in four finals. Got him one. They were in fact one of the two best teams in the league each year that this team was together.

He finally achieved his childhood dream and the promise he made to Cleveland fans. Beginning and end of it. There is no villain in this scenario. Everyone did all they could. The only villain would be Silver and the fucks over at Golden State that prevented us from getting the man, and the city another O'Brien trophy to lift over his head.

A FUCKING COACH THAT COULDN'T WIN WITH THE GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS WAS NOT GOING TO KEEP LEBRON HERE.

THIS ISN'T HARD TO COMPREHEND.

AND YES I'M PUTTING THIS IN RED LETTERS BECAUSE IT NEEDS SPELLED OUT TO YOU.

Not yet...

Beat writers couldn’t figure out LeBron was subtweeting Kevin Love.

LeBron didn’t need to go to LA to expand his brand.

Has LeBron wanted to play for Mark Jackson since 2014?

Did the Cavs ever hire him?

Oh yes because you're a professional journalist that has covered the man for years, on the road, etc.

No wait. You're some rando. on a message board that keeps citing some tweet from 2014.

Do you know LeBron? or are you just gonna keep dragging this shitty, stupid talking point out of your fucking ass?

I would never consider Lebron a villain. He used us. We used him. He brought us a championship. I thank him

https://nypost.com/2016/01/22/cavs-whack-coach-david-blatt-as-lebron-gets-his-man/

“Ty wanted the job from the beginning, and LeBron wanted him to have it,’’ an industry source told The Post. “There was a division within the players, but J.R. [Smith], [Iman] Shumpert, even [Kevin] Love sided with LeBron. Kyrie [Irving] was supportive of Dave, but there were a group the last two weeks trying to get him fired.’’

Sounds like LeBron got exactly what he wanted.

Huh. Interesting.

Don't doubt any of this. It was a frame-up. For in or fit out was James thing. It was directed at Blatt, tho. Not Kevin. Maybe Kevin was on the fence.

One also can't go "HE'D HAVE STAYED IF THEY'D HAVE JUST HIRED JACKSON. DAN GILBERT IS DUMB!" when it appears that Lue was 1B on that list.

LeBron approved of the hiring, and even pushed for it early on apparently.

LeBron got exactly the team he wanted and the coach he wanted. The team worked something out, they won a title.

There is no other reason to have hired Jackson. His hiring alone doesn't defeat the Warriors in 2017, 2018 and for the future. (especially with the signing of fucking Boogie Cousins) LeBron also was obviously content with Lue.

I would imagine if that was a condition to return? The Cavs would have thrown Lue the fuck over board and we'd be staring at Mark Jackson yelling "THERE GO THAT BAD MAN!" during summer league.

To suggest otherwise is gaslighting.

They said he is not clueless in the round table of reporters, but then they talked about how cool and nice he is. Blatt was mean to them and Lue wasn't

Lue is generally well regarded around the league by the players, coaches, and the media. It’s mostly the fans that have any issues, because, you know, they are the experts.

Lue can be relaxed at the summer leagues because Posey is doing the coaching for the summer league team. Most head coaches who are there are hanging out having a good time becuase it’s their summer break. They have to get back to work soon enough.
