Tyronn Lue has been fired

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Can we go the route of Bullshit Whisperer for LeBr*n in non-LeBr*n threads?

I mean, don't change his name to something that mocks him. But change it to something like "I can't stop living in the past and I'd rather talk about that than Cedi Godsman"

He finally achieved his childhood dream and the promise he made to Cleveland fans. Beginning and end of it. There is no villain in this scenario. Everyone did all they could. The only villain would be Silver and the fucks over at Golden State that prevented us from getting the man, and the city another O'Brien trophy to lift over his head.

I don't agree with this, LBJ could have taken less money to help us win like he did in Miami, would have been nice if LBJ didn't push for his boys to get paid as in TT and JR, and don't try and argue he had no say in this, they are on his agency... of course he did. And guess what they both became unplayabe bums that for some reason continued to get minutes.. He also drove Kyrie out of town. I'm grateful for the championship he brought us, but I'm not blind to the fact he did this for his own legacy and brand than for the city of Cleveland and there could have been a lot more done by himself and the management and our so called coach. We could have had a dynasty.

There seems to be something wrong with the idea that he owns an agency and can pretty much dictate to the team he is with how much they will pay players. The more they pay the players the more $ his agency makes
Plus it was reported that His agency Klutch Sports was undermining David Blatt while here. The whole thing seems like a giant conflict of interest

Lebron took less in Miami initially to get he wade and bosh together. It’s not like he took less every year to get more players there. They were caped out after that first year. He didn’t need to take less here because we already had kyrie and love on the way.

Meh.
It's over.

I know it is over. Frankly I am glad he left. If he would have stayed somehow we would have got rid of zizic, cedi and sexton for one year of Kemba Walker and Melo...then they all would have left next year

But that has nothing to do with a current player owning a sports agency signing on other currently playing players.

Do MLB or the NFL allow this

I don't know, but what the fuck does it have to do with Ty Lue?

Lue is generally well regarded around the league by the players, coaches, and the media.

He's part of the ex-player fraternity, and was well-liked. If any of them think he's a poor coach, they're not going to say it publicly.

His anxiety also makes him a touchy subject for criticism even if people were otherwise inclined to do so, and he's even come out and said it was all the "outside pressures" that made it so difficult to coach a team with LBJ. That's basically blaming the fans/media for making things hard on him. So, him being a nice guy and all, media and other NBA people go easy on him.

Although I'll give Austin Carr credit for occasionally going off and pointing out that some of the things the Cavs were doing in terms of rotations was inexplicable.

LeBron does not have any ownership interest in Klutch. The NBA actually investigated that a few years back.

Sure but my point was he didn't do "everything he could"...

Nba investigations are a joke. Silver let’s everything slide.

Nah -- this is something the NBA likely would do very well. And LBJ is too smart to do something so stupid. So is Paul, for that matter. They'd risk all sorts of conflict of interest charges, plus a violation of the CBA.

Watch when lbj retires he will become part owner in klutch. Betcha there is agreement already in place
