Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Yu Chang isn't in the line up.

IF we are involved does that speak to their concession of Miller being shut down or would they have explored it irrespective?

You can pencil a healthy Josh Donaldson in for .270, 30 HR, 100 RBI at worst next season. Guy is that great of an offensive talent. Could also replace Edwin as DH if we choose to go that route, but he can still play the field relatively solid.

Keyword is healthy. If we picked him up this year, he'd probably need another week or two off.

I’d take another reliever at this point too.

Is it just me or has it been really quiet regarding the Cutch interest? Really hope they get that done by the deadline.

We need one badly. I’d rather have a RP or two over Donaldson.

Every day my feelings about this team change. One day, I think we can win it all. The next after seeing the bullpen struggle, I think we get swept first round. I hate baseball

Agreed on not sure on how to feel about them. But I don’t think we would get swept in the first round.

Hard to see Donaldson making a difference for anyone this year, he's been a disaster physically and was held out last night from soreness after 1 rehab game.

A RH reliever has to be far and away the biggest priority. With the struggles of Allen, Cimber, and Ramirez, there is a glaring need to reinforce the bullpen. Not really sure who is out there to get though. Maybe if you could get Greg Holland for nothing? He was awful with the Cards but has been good with the Nats

Tyler Clippard and Jim Johnson are a couple of AL relievers who would likely clear waivers if they haven’t already. Neither are ideal late-inning options, but would at least serve as significant upgrades for middle-relief over Otero and Neil Ramirez.

Clippard hasn't been all that sharp lately.

Since July:

Clippard- 20 IP, 5.40 ERA, 5 HR allowed, 1.20 WHIP
Ramirez- 17.1 IP, 6.75 ERA, 7 HR allowed, 1.32 WHIP
Otero- 19.2 IP, 5.03 ERA, 4 HR allowed, 1.47 WHIP

Done
That sucks. Yanks, as always, are that scrappy underdog who you root for to make that savvy late season pick up on the cheap to help overcome all the natural disadvantages working against them.
