Maybe he can provide 3 run homers....Klay Thompson’s brother.

The team has been the best regular season team in the AL since 2013 and fans still don’t support them at the ballpark. That streak will never be brokenThe blows are going to keep coming aren't they?
You want a continued great baseball team Cleveland? Beat the 455 streak.
I mean if they are going to blow up the roster, so be it... Don’t need to try and half ass it and rebuild / contend at the same time. If they trade Kluber to the Mets I will feel like Groundhogs day ala 2001 when they traded Robbie Alomar to them for dog feces.
Alex Escobar 5 tool cant miss prospect

You're not angry about watching Roberto Perez, the worst offensive player in the history of the game receive a bigger role? We all know Tito plays the guys he trusts more. Gomes was relatively cheap and under control while putting up pretty good stats from his position. Gomes was really good when he earned that money, fell off a cliff, then reemerged into a 1st time all-star. Definitely our best catcher in our system and we have no capable backup. Probably the weakest position in our whole organization and we traded our most fitted. They've traded Yan Gomes and the rest, to this point, are rumors. I've never seen a fan base get preemptively angry like this one.

Not a winning move to dissemble like that. People can spin it however they want though. Gomes was a good Indian in the bigger picture.

It definitely sucks, but the only reason they are doing this is because of money. When you have the 14th highest payroll, but only 21st at the gate, the team cant function like that over the long-term.1. It is December 2nd and the offseason is far from over.
2. We don't know if Roberto Perez will start, or if it will be Eric Haase - who has reportedly become a favorite of the Indians front office, or if it will be a guy not even on the roster right now.
3. I really liked Yan, but he was pretty bad to mediocre in the three seasons before that. He also couldn't stay on the field, only topping 100 games in a season 3 times in his career. Roberto Perez has also played much better when he's been the regular starter. There's a dropoff for sure, but I'm not sure it's as large as we may think.
