Browns 2018 Season Reboot Thread

I would’ve liked to get the win, but how can anyone not be thrilled with this season?

Dorsey is the GM of the year and it’s not close....
Baker is the rookie of the year
Callaway looks like the real deal
Ward is a stud
Avery is a very solid player

We have the youngest team in the league, draft picks and a ton of money to spend. These guys went toe to toe with the hottest team in the league in their stadium with everything to play for.

Compare the conversations we were having at this point last year with the conversations we are having now.

The Rooney's supported us...and even their fans supported us. Same in Buffalo. Only two who did.

It's a rivalry, but more like Army-Navy than Army/Taliban.

Because Art Modell is dead. Because Rayenthal retired. I don’t hate any of the players on the Ravens any longer (though this could always change). Their fans... I honestly don’t know a single serious Ravens fan, so I don’t ever hear from them.

Steelers, I’ve disliked strongly since I first started watching football. I CANNOT STAND BEN FUCKING ROETHLISWHATEVER. Antonio Brown can shove that stupid dance up his ass. The O-line holds EVERY PLAY. Their defense gets away with endless shit. Their coached stepped on the field to stop a TD return and got away with it AND HE LOOKS LIKE OMAR EPPS TRYING TO LOOK LIKE WESLEY SNIPES LOOKING LIKE WILLY MAYS HAYES.

I don't have to interact with Ravens fans at all. There are plenty of Steelers fans in NE Ohio and surrounding areas. The Steelers fans I am acquainted with are smarmy assholes about football.

You forgot Chubb. He had a 1000 yds then he didn’t but he also didn’t start until week 7. Would’ve likely had 1300 plus yds
 
OL again didn’t allow a sack. That is unbelievable.

For once we’re not entering the off-season with major holes on the team. We have some major young talent on this team.

Baker
Chubb
Njoku
Callaway
Add in a solid OLine, Duke, Landry, Higgins and hopefully Perriman and you’re basically set on offense. Maybe add another wr and oline depth.

Garrett
Larry
Ogbah
Avery
Shobert
Ward
Mitchell
Peppers
Randall

Need some studs at DL, LB and more secondary depth. We have the foundation, draft capital and the money to build a top 5 defense in this offseason. Add that to Baker leading the offense. Look out NFL, the Browns are back.
 
Both fanbases are awful and obnoxious.

Steelers have some assholes in Ohio and others internationally that seem to mimic the Cowboys, 49ers fans of yesteryear. Casual fans that like to take credit for their teams success, then disapear at the first sign of strife.

Their PA fans are okay to me.

Their fellow inbred cousins out of the chesapeake are also assholes. They wear camo. They're loud and stupid. And they play this little game which I fucking hate.

Baltimore fan: "A BLOO BLOO, BOB IRSAY TOOK OUR TEAM TO INDIANAPOLIS! WOE IS US! MAYFLOWER VANS! PITY US!"

Cleveland fan: "Oh man that sucks...but you uh...took our team...which sucks. Art Modell did us wrong."

Baltimore fan: "ART SHOULD BE IN THE HALL OF FAME! GET OVER IT! YOU GOT YOUR TEAM BACK! YOU GUYS JUST SUCK! SQWAK!"

Seriously. It was a no win situation.
