Good point. I personally had them as a 6-8 seed assuming they were healthy and didn't make a substantial trade. Just for fun, if you take their W/L% before the injury and see that they were winning at a 58.8% clip before LeBron got hurt and extrapolated that without factoring in strength of schedule (13th SOS pre-injury and 15th SOS up to now) they would be at 35-25 and sitting in the 5th-6th seed tied with Houston.

Lakers went 6-11 without LeBron and are 4-8 without Lonzo during this stretch. I doubt they make the playoffs at this point because they've completely given up on help defense as defensive rotations are non-existent. LeBron is simply guarding empty space at this point. My favorite thing about LeBron as a Laker is watching him ignore competent shooters then act disgusted after they make the shot. I held my tongue when LeBron was here because I knew the real deal was coming out in the playoffs but Lakers fans might not even have that to look forward to.

I wonder if LeBron will view it as a cost saving measure since they didn't want to eat Beasley's contract. With them not being in the luxury tax, it seems crazy to give up Zubac for saving probably around 1 million dollars left on Beasley's contract. Were the clippers even going to keep Muscala?

Bleacher report saying if Walton is let go lue is a serious candidate. Wonder how Magic likes being replaced by lbj

It is beyond confusing. Trade away their best young Center for Muscala. It was really Dumb. They didn't want to pay Zubac anything so they can get Durant, so they gave him up for nothing. They really could have used him in the playoffs. Zubac is pretty good, the question is will they have the same regrets about him as they have with Russel now? I don't think Zubac becomes that good, but he is going to be a quality starting C for a long time.

Forget Maginka ..... I wonder how the Lakers fans feel about this :chuckle: !!! It might force some of them to join the Clippers bandwagon !
