2019 Browns Off Season/Roster Discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yea as passers it’s a viable comment.

QBs who run first and inaccurately pass second typically don’t last long.

22-year-olds with his athleticism who display accuracy, a strong arm and lots of projection in their rookie season are certainly too early to judge.

If he improves on his 7.1 YPA and gets that completion percentage a bit higher, he'll be just fine.

Till the first time they bust up his knees. Case in point, RGIII.

Josh Allen too?

It's hard to name worse QB/RB duos.

The dumpster fires, obviously. Miami, Denver, Washington, Tampa Bay. Then there's a couple questionable ones.

Tennessee? Mariota and Henry or Lewis?
Jacksonville? Foles and Fournette?
Oakland? Carr and Lynch?

I think I take Foles and Fournette over Baltimore. So at best there's 6 teams in the NFL worse off.

Sure, but you can't predict that stuff. You also can't predict a coach sending him back out with a busted knee to irrevocably fuck it up like Mike Shanahan did.

Josh Allen too?

He doesn't have Jackson's athleticism, but sure. He's got quite a bit of projection left.

So did Hackenburg. I'm not saying I'd bet on it, but its true.

If Guice pans out I'd hesitantly take Keenum and Guice over Jackson and Ingram. Depends on if Jackson makes strides this year but I liked Guice a lot more as a prospect than I like Ingram at this point.

Justin would need to help, maybe get a girl to accuse him of domestic violence 2 weeks before draft and only tell Browns it was false.

About the only way I see him there at our pick.

Draft Wire, the USA Today site, just had Layne going at pick #72. I'm not saying USA Today is the expert, but I don't think it's a lock that Layne is gone before the Browns pick.
