Cleveland Browns 2019 Season

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Am I crazy to believe AZ doesn’t draft Murray?

I wouldn't, but I also wouldn't hire a fire a coach in a year to hand it over to a guy who just got fired with no NFL experience.

And if any of you think I know anything more than anyone else because I live here? No, I have no fucking clue what AZ will do on Thursday....that alone is worth tuning in for to be quite honest, lol.

One of the best secondary effects of a Cleveland team starting a window of success is the opportunity to adopt a trainwreck side piece to follow.

Back when LeBron was in his first run with the Cavs I adopted the hapless Warriors. Then during the second tour of LeBron duty I picked up the Delly led Bucks. Watch how a team goes from disaster to contender while Cleveland wins, it keeps the ying in equal balance with the yang.

The Niners are questionable and I'll be following them, but I really enjoy the unbridled ego of Jon Gruden. If you want a later bloomer, Oak Vegas is a great selection.

Nailed it. With three first round picks, here's to Gruden fucking them all up.

Oaklands trashfire stock is through the roof. Them moving to Vegas would be so fucking perfect.

Hmm. I wonder if this makes the Seahawks even more likely as potential trade down partners if Dorsey does look to move into the first round.

So, lemme get this straight....

They tag Dee Ford, trade him for a 2nd rounder, then turn around, pay Frank Clark a shit ton of money, and give up a 1st, 2nd and middle round pick?! For a player worse than Frank Clark?!

I think all their brain power left when Dorsey left. That's an awful trade.

Not sure I'd call Dee Ford better than Clark, he's also two years older.

Though I agree it is pretty strange to avoid continuity like that. Pretty hefty price.

Two years older, less criminal history, and costs less than Clark.

It's a terrible move from KC.

I mean, they’re trying to max out their window with Mahomes on years 3-5 of his cheaper rookie deal.

They must have felt the age and scheme fit with Clark was better than with the older Ford.

A lot to pay but this is a team that has the offense to go to the Super Bowl the next three years. They’re counting on Clark helping their defense aid those efforts more than the picks they gave up.

What does age matter in maxing out the next 3-5 years when you already have to pay him 20 million a year?

If they wanted an Edge guy, there were about 10 different deals better than this one. I don't want to hear about scheme fit either. Clark is a better run defender, but it's not worth what they paid to make the difference.

They paid more for Clark that the Browns did for OBJ alone. Hell, the Browns barely gave up more for OBJ and Vernon and Vernon is just as good as Clark and Ford.

In other news a kicker (Robbie Gould) requested a trade :chuckle:

Clark is significantly better than ford. But that’s a steep price. They better hope Clark turns into a perennial all pro.

The Chiefs are giving up more for Frank Freaking Clark than we did for Odell Beckham Jr.
