2019 NBA Draft Lottery

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This makes me wonder what the cavs draft board looks like, because Its probably WAAAAYY different from all the mocks

Cavs look at everyone. They really liked Stephen Adams when we had #1 and 19 or whatever. Maybe they like Okeke at 26, or maybe they thing he could be a target if they get a 2nd rounder. I like him, even with the injury.

Give me Okeke/Herro/, Goga/Hayes/Clarke(???) and someone with the 5th or 8th pick (Hawks). Don't know which one yet.

Exactly. Don’t get too caught up in these visits as the Cavaliers, assuming they are being thorough, are probably bringing all the top prospects in. I read that the Celtics were bringing in 100 prospects and obviously not that many even get drafted.

Teams like to bring in their guy, and similar guys to see how they compare. Fall back guy and similar guys to see how they compare. And so on

You’re assuming they have made a decision on who ‘their guy’ is. The draft is still 12 days away and much can change between now & then. Hopefully, they have a whole draft board assembled and there isn’t just one guy they want or that can lead to overreacrion & disappointment, as happened in 1995 when the Jets took tight end Kyle Brady one pick before the Browns could get him. The Browns were so caught off guard that they traded down to the end of the round, where they took a linebacker that ended up being a bust.

I'm not sure Koby would target a center with how much depth we currently have at the position. Our centers are not particularly a versatile group either. We had a hard time trying to play two of them at the same time last year. Adding a rookie to that bunch wouldn't make it better. Hayes could get the Zizic treatment or not even play. Clarke might not be a full time center but he will need to develop a decent 3 point shot to play any other positions with our current group. Goga is the one that might make the most sense, he seems to have the well rounded offensive skill set that this team might needs.

I would go after wings, forwards, and maybe a PG or SG to come off the bench.

Yes...although that all changes if the Cavs decide to move one or more big men on draft day.

That’s why they bring in guys to compare them against each other...
