Before the draft, I read that Joe Harris might be available from Brooklyn and I was like, "hey, the Cavs should see if they could get him back"

then they made this pick. I see what they did here.

Chris Fedor

I was watching his Twitter feed during the draft and he tweeted that the Cavs were going to take Keldon Johnson. I was bummed because I actually wanted Windler in this area and thought some other team would grab him soon. It wasn't a couple minutes and he said hold on - that he was hearing it was Windler instead. He had it before Woj and I noticed today that original tweet about Johnson isn't on his feed anymore.

Did he offer 17 cent refunds or whatever the daily cost is to his loyal subscribers? He should -- would have cost him less than a buck total.

I really like this guy. I don't have a good comparison for him at all. His step back 3 is like Harden or Steph. Much different shooter than Korver. Feet aren't set, but his footwork is amazing. High arching shot, pretty wild. Like the pick a lot. Seems like a better Iggy Braseikes for Beilein.

I get that people are excited about Windler and think he can become a good defender... but that will take a tremendous leap. He posted a +1.4 DBPM this season with strong rebounding numbers. The problem is that stat means, including all of his rebounds, he was still a pretty negative defender.

He's not quick and did most of his scoring off of cuts and fast shots. His quick release will help him continue to take advantage of the latter, but I am not certain he will be as deadly off cuts in the NBA.

Windler needs to add 5-10 pounds of muscle and become a true forward. Otherwise, I do not believe his strengths will translate. They are only unique if he is playing as a forward.

Still, he's such a great shooter that it is a no-brainer pick in the late 20s. I'm really happy with the choice and he has a lot of potential to become a game-changer for a good team just because of his shooting.

I see a lot of Luke Jackson in his game. I think Luke's athleticism is often overlooked and he had such a sweet stroke. Maybe I've finally found my L-Jax fix.

He does not look super quick on the highlights, but he has more than enough quicks to be a solid defender. His shuttle time (2.94) was one of the best of any of the guards at the combine.

I am not sure what to pluck from there and obviously it’s only so useful anyway.

At work someone asked me who Windler was and I said poor man’s Klay. Def not feeling the Korver comps.

So he is 10lbs lighter, but just as strong or stronger than Klay?

I just don't want to make that comparison because it just seems it cant be real, but those are eye opening measurements combined with the tape we have all scene.

The cuts and feel for the game are almost as impressive as the shooting stroke. I don't want anyone to say the comp because I don't want to Jinx it, but wow.

Comps are weird. It’s like walking into a trap to mention Klay. He is just so good. And I don’t watch college b-ball until the tourney. But from what we know about him, Windler seems like he has a similar game to college Klay to me. But... I didn’t watch college Klay.

Why am I posting this? Wtf was my point? I will see myself out and make sure I close the door.
