Cleveland Browns 2022 Regular Season

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I don’t see Jacoby being a starter again unless it’s similar to this situation — whereas he could go to Houston and help groom whichever QB they go with or Arizona and hold it down until Kyler is recovered.
Are you calling Jacoby Brissett a groomer?

If nobody snatches Brissett up for a starting gig, the FO may bring him back imo.

There are going to be much more "average to below average" type QBs available on the open market than usual this coming offseason (Brissett, Baker, Carr, Darnold, JimmyG, Dobbs just to name a few) which may limit his starter options and pay.

But he may be better than almost all of the others in that set.

I have a weird feeling Baker ends up in Vegas (assuming Tom doesn't), Lamar (and Payton) end up in Indy, Geno stays in Seattle, Brissett ends up in Houston, Mariotta ends up in Baltimore, Carr ends up with the Jets, Jimmy G stays with the 49ers, etc...

After getting Rhule fired and then driving McVay to lose his love for football and retire, I can't imagine any other team touching Baker with a 25 1/2 foot pole.

You must not know the combination of hubris, ignorance and lack of cash that's going on in Vegas...

I'm reading some Steelers forums to get a feel for their expectations and I stumbled into Bizarro world along the way.

Think the Browns should work real hard to get Jacoby back. I know it takes two to tango, but they need to extend the hand. That’s a guy your team trusts if he’s called upon.

I’m not going to get my hopes up on Chubb. I can see it being the next controversy now: he’ll be 38 yards shy and Kareem Hunt will be in on the drive that could get Chubb the last yards he needs.

If the Browns win today they will have gone 4 and 2 in the AFC North. The Browns will either have the best record in the North or will be tied with Baltimore depending on their outcome and still miss the playoffs somehow. This is what frustrates me... That god damn Jets game...
