This needs to be the one and only year of the Kyle McCord Experience if they are serious about not turning into pre-cheating Michigan.

Realistically there's only one spot up for grabs left.

Even if Michigan loses to Iowa, I don't think we pass them.

Even if Gerogia loses to Alabama, I don't think we pass them.

The winner of the Pac 12 will, at most, only have 1 loss. They're in.

So we need Texas to lose in the Big 12 title game and Florida State to lose.

Now, on that front. BYU is up 11 on Oklahoma State. If that holds, Texas has to play Oklahoma game. Very losable considering, well, they already lost it.

But it's that Florida State game. However, I DID forget they lost their QB.

Gonna root for Florida tonight in that one, because it certainly can't hurt OSUs chances to get if Florida State has a loss, even if they win the ACC.

Keep rooting for BYU tonight. Oklahoma can beat Texas. Oklahoma State? Highly unlikely.

Yeah, the path is clear and it’s really not all that unrealistic at the moment.

I think it’s gonna really boil down to Texas. I dont see FSU winning the next 2 without Jordan Travis.

Louisville didn't inspire confidence today losing to a very mediocre Kentucky team.

Now I am gonna say Alabama losing can't hurt.

If 1 loss Bama beats Georgia, they'll put both of them over OSU. Makes it easy.


But if TWO loss Bama beats Georgia?

Suddenly you have to put Georgia in while leaving the actual SEC conference champ out? Makes it easier to just put OSU ahead of Georgia and leave them both out.

I've been beating this drum for a literal decade now.

It has been fucking BRUTAL.

I do wonder how willing Day will be to change. I don't think this is just a problem with having a good QB. I know some had thought that this system is good enough to win it all but I think that is becoming clear that it isn't. If he didn't win with Stroud and the receiver corp he has had, there is definitely something missing.

I think there was a point where Day has figured out some winkles that worked real well in college football but it seems teams have caught up to Day. I still believe to be a top offense in college you have to be ever evolving. is Day willing to bring in a OC that challenges his concepts and helps to evolve the offense? Herrman did it first with Urban then it wasn't until Day came in that they evolved it further. Now who can be that guy for Day. Hartline is a great recruiter but he basically came up under Day so I doubt he has large amount of concept changes to being to the table.

Fucking hell OK State is gonna win.
