Game #12 | #2 Ohio State vs. #3 Xichigan | Nov. 25th, 2023 @ 12PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We need to maintain the standard. Mccord cannot be given the job next year.

I mean, we were right there.

Outgained them by 40 yards with a chance to win at the end.

But we had 2 turnovers. One gave Michigan 7 points. The other ended the game. Michigan had 0 turnovers.

We missed a 50 yard FG. Michigan made a 50 yard FG. Our punting was awful. Michigan’s was good.

Shit happens :dunno:
Sounds like a special team's coach needs fired

So none of the games left matter THAT much but if you're the believing type you might as well root for Auburn. A 2nd Alabama loss eliminates them from CFP contention even if they beat Georgia.

Also, root for BYU. Oklahoma can beat Texas in the title game.

Not sure Oklahoma State can.

Special teams and the big TO.

Michigan played flawless. If this game was in Columbus we win. They would have made a mistake.

But that doesn't matter. Ryan Day is absolutely John Cooper 2.0.

They need to go in the portal to get someone. I wouldn't worry about McCord feelings once Marvin Harrison is gone. Let McCord transfer if he gets benched here.

If Day stays, I want a OC that pushes Days concepts especially in the run game. Too much of the staff is just guys who have the same offensive philosophy as Day. I want someone with real strong run concepts to balance out Day.

Sorry to laugh at your post, Chris. But you know as well as I do that Ryan is going to make him the starter barring a serious injury. Be prepared to hear something like the following:

"Kyle is our starter. He has a year of starting under his belt and he led last year's team to an 11-1 record. The players trust him, and we look forward to his continued development."

When Day says that, in going to vomit and break my television.

Mcord should transfer to mich. better at throwing them the ball. That TD should’ve been an interception. All my thoughts from that game.

Last year I had way more hope the way the games were lining up.

This year feels a little more hopeless of getting in via the backdoor.

I do hope Texas A&M comes with some massive 12m offer and gives us cover.

Lanning, DeBoer, Brohm.

We just need some new blood. I don't want one of these Cooper 12 year eras of winning two games.

As an outside observer, I think that largely depends on what kind of vote of confidence he gets internally.

Day’s problem now is, if he truly can’t afford 4 in a row and still be coach……then McCord is definitely going to be the starter.

Michigan graduates a lot and I would imagine Day wants to lean on an experienced QB vs breaking in a 1st year starter in a game he absolutely has to win.

I’m not saying that is right or wrong but it seems more likely to be McCord just because the devil you know is better than the devil you don’t.

Can I also say I hate we don't win any Heisman despite the offensive talent.

We like go out of the way to never rely on our best player.

Stroud should have won a Heisman but we purposefully didn't want to rely on him too much.

Feel the same today with Harrison.

If Harrison was somewhere else he puts up like 1700 yards.

Now that would be worth it if saving these guys would pay off with winning this game but it doesn't.

So for fuck sake I wanna see what Marvin could ha e done with 15 targets a game.
