2023-24 Season | Game #19 | Trail Blazers @ Cavs | Nov. 30, 2023 | 7:00 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The other day I mentioned that this team was showing the signs of a group tuning out their coach. I forget who, but someone told me there was no evidence of that.

Do we still feel that way?

My theory, dating back to last season, was that his message would wear thin around late November this year. Here we are, and it looks like that is exactly what’s happening.
Injuries played a role, but there’s more to it this year. Even with guys out, the body language is just different this year. Less joy.

Anything that pushes the needle towards JB getting fired is a good thing.

Yes. His one positive, the thing you couldn’t deny, was that he got the guys to play hard every single night.

That’s gone. He hasn’t grown in his deficient areas. He’s now worthless.

Nightmare time; Luke Walton is named interim coach. We make the playoffs at the #4 seed again. Luke Walton is named permanent head coach.
If this team comes back from 10-9 to make the 4 seed in this year’s eastern conference he will have earned that promotion.

21% on 3's for us. That rarely works.
Supposed to beat the teams you're supposed to beat. Get another chance at that on Sat.

It was good to see CPJ get 23 minutes tonight. He deserved it and we have a coach who recognized it. TT too... good to see him get 14 minutes and play some serious D and some timely offensive rebounds. Things are looking up.

What a F'n joke

My personal metric for each game is: do you feel better or worse about your team after vs before?

On that metric this was a really bad loss. There aren’t a lot of weak team out there & you need to beat those teams at home. Plus we have a brutal five game stretch coming up.

Miserable way to end a good month and home stand.

I’m calling him “Dick” for now after Dick van Patten. Every game he pulls this lame eight man rotation where we’re reasonably healthy is a Dick game.

I found myself more "I'm not shocked they're quitting" than the usual pissed off feeling.

If Mitchell's shot isn't falling, he's a net negative for the team since he can't really do anything else all that well.
Did you watch the game? Like seriously asking.

He played inspired defense tonight and before the team abruptly quit he was moving the ball/going to the hoop. He's allowed to have a shooting slump.

I don't know how much more of JBB I can take, and it seems the players might be on the same page given the effort.

I've watched 6 minutes of the last two games and turned off the Raptors at the half.

That's where I'm at and will continue to be until what has to happen happens.

What the hell happened to all this bs in the off season about making amends for what the knicks did to them ?
Garland. Mobley Allen all soft
DM one foot out the door

It’s the nba. I get it. Nights like this happen. But the make up of this team does not have the moxie to contend for anything
They are all Charmin
