So the B1G / SEC supercon is on the horizon?

Seems like the only two conferences that could financially support something like this, given TV money.

Will be pretty interesting how it shakes out.

Title IX would apply, essentially doubling the cost per player for schools that wish to pay football and male basketball players.

Big question I'd have about that proposal is whether the teams that chose to be in this top tier would still play teams outside that tier. If not, does that mean we now have two national championships, one for the "regular" colleges and one for those that chose to be in this higher tier?

I'll start be saying UM will 100% play but I wonder how much of a slow leak we start to see over the next week and a half. I sincerely doubt we have heard all the details concerning the investigation and I also have no doubt that the media will leave the week leading up to the game about the product on the field. I would say if anyone has been holding any scoops (not bombshells) back the next 10 days would be when we'd hear about them.

Seems to be the opposite. Everything has really died down.

The funniest development is the NCAA apparently not being able to figure out if Stallions was actually on the CMU sideline.
 
Think it’s silly to think we’ve heard the last of this. Will ramp up in the offseason when the NCAA digs in.

No clue what the end result will be obviously, I’m sure it won’t be program ending like some people want.
 
Yeah, nothing is happening until the NCAA strikes in the offseason. Until then, we wait.
 
My only point was that I could see some leaks happening starting today until the week before the game. Maybe not but I understand why it went quiet through last weekend.
