2023 College Football Season/Playoff (off the field)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Think it’s silly to think we’ve heard the last of this. Will ramp up in the offseason when the NCAA digs in.

No clue what the end result will be obviously, I’m sure it won’t be program ending like some people want.

Not really what I meant. I think the NCAA knows what they will know at this point. That org isn’t capable of doing actual investigative work…..probably why whoever hired the PI, hired the PI.

The NCAA can’t even figure out who the person was on the CMU sideline. This notion that they are going to track down all the threads in this Stallion’s investigation, without his cooperation, seems like more fan fiction to me at this point.

Michigan will certainly get a punishment but the NCAA not being able to confirm Stallions was actually on the sideline is a pretty big miss if that is the outcome. It is the only known game he actually attended in person…..and if they can’t pin Michigan down on that, I think the legal fight is going to be really long and drawn out.

I’m sure more stuff could break but at this point the NCAA has all the evidence from the PI, they have university devices and logs, they have interviewed staff in multiple rounds. I don’t know what else there really is to uncover at this point. Guess we’ll see.

Do we really know what the NCAA knows or doesn’t know? I.e. Stallions on the sideline. Unless I missed something which is possible, I don’t think we do.

They’ve apparently gone back to CMU on more than one occasion and there isn’t a paper or communication trail to be had.

Stallions name wasn’t on the field pass list, coaches say they don’t know who it was and there is not university comms with Stallions.

That is at least what CMU and Michigan insiders have said. Probably speaks to having a few days lead time to square stories, as the CMU angle didn’t break until days later.

Maybe they eventually find something but as of yesterday, they had not yet determined who it was / is.

Are you getting all of this from "insiders" on message boards and passing it along as known facts? I haven't heard anything to suggest the trail has run cold and the NCAA is scrambling. I know you didn't specifically say that but it's certainly how it reads, even with your caveat that a punishment will still come down.

And considering Michigan insiders are batting .000 during this scandal...

Wetzel and Dellenger talked about it as well. They were laughing about some of the details (like allegedly the coaching outfit being hid in a bush outside the stadium) and how no one could figure it out. I’ll try to find the spot in the podcast.

Given they clearly have NCAA sources, I’d imagine they wouldn’t be joking about it unless they truly just haven’t figured it out at this point. And that is what CMU appears to be intimating.

And equal to Harbaugh’s playoff winning percentage

The comebacks are related to third parties now, which is nice. :chuckle:

Maybe the big bad wolf will help you out again this year. Cross your fingers.

So just barely worse than Ryan Day’s winning percentage against Michigan.
At least he doesn’t cancel games because he knows he’s getting whooped. Frankly, I view Day as 1-1. Can’t watch CJ stroud in the nfl and tell me michigans shenanigans didn’t impact those games. If you say well look at this year, I say Kyle McCord

So once Harbaugh's victories* are vacated, does he get a negative winning percentage? Given there's also a quit and a suspended in his record as well...

I had kind of forgot Day lost to the temporary head coach. Really just been living the dream the last few years here. :chuckle:

Harbaugh, either the absolute idiot or cheater, may as well have coached that game regardless of the weak punishment given to your completely meritless, backwards schools scandals and their refusal to cooperate with the investigation (one of like a handful) or do the right thing at any point of the ordeal

But good job "winning" 3*/20, id be psyched too
