Think it’s silly to think we’ve heard the last of this. Will ramp up in the offseason when the NCAA digs in.
No clue what the end result will be obviously, I’m sure it won’t be program ending like some people want.
Not really what I meant. I think the NCAA knows what they will know at this point. That org isn’t capable of doing actual investigative work…..probably why whoever hired the PI, hired the PI.
The NCAA can’t even figure out who the person was on the CMU sideline. This notion that they are going to track down all the threads in this Stallion’s investigation, without his cooperation, seems like more fan fiction to me at this point.
Michigan will certainly get a punishment but the NCAA not being able to confirm Stallions was actually on the sideline is a pretty big miss if that is the outcome. It is the only known game he actually attended in person…..and if they can’t pin Michigan down on that, I think the legal fight is going to be really long and drawn out.
I’m sure more stuff could break but at this point the NCAA has all the evidence from the PI, they have university devices and logs, they have interviewed staff in multiple rounds. I don’t know what else there really is to uncover at this point. Guess we’ll see.
