2023-24 Season | Game #32 | Bucks @ Cavs | Dec. 29, 2023 | 7:30 p.m. | NBA-TV

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Nobody else touched the ball and the other guy is on fire hot this quarter.
Yeah, I get it, I just don’t think given the time and score it was some awful shot. It was a great look.

If he had isolated and shot a step back, or risen up with a guy right on him, I’d agree with you, but the leading scorer and best player on the team got a look for one of his best shots and took it.

Strus and Niang have to start making 3s. They've been cold more than hot lately.

Strus still contributes when he doesn't make 3s. Niang...there's nothing else there.

Toss in Wade, LeVert, and Mitchell clanking every 3 and that's the loss.

That said, it doesn't take a great eye to see the talent in Porter but apparently the coach has to be spoonfed what is clear from the TV screen.

He's better than Merril. He's better than Okoro. That's today. His ceiling is way higher than either guy for the future.

Construct rotations accordingly.

It's the time that is my issue. It wasn't 40 seconds left.

It was 1:30 and a 4 point game. And the guy who has been making everything happen that quarter needs to be allowed to have the ball. He did not need to play hero ball with that much time left.

Cpj not playing is a crime and until we get a new coach, just get used to this shit
Maybe him playing the final 4 minutes of crunch time and his performance in that stretch is a turning point for JBBs willingness to sacrifice other guys minutes to keep CPJ on the floor moving forward?

And that’s not defense of JBB, I’m just looking for a silver lining moving forward because it just seems obvious now at this point that 20-24 mpg for CPJ is needed

Was it voluntary that he got put back in towards the end or did someone get hurt or foul out?

Mitchell lost the game with that shot.

We'll ignore the 34 points on 23 FGA, 9 assists, 6 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block.

Okoro 30 minutes, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block, 1 steal

Wade 17 minutes, 5 rebounds,1 assist, 1 steal

When is coach going to realize Wade over Okoro is the next move that should always be the case

Okoro is full of empty minutes and his team leading -76 when he is in the floor is a problem.

Another guy that can be traded for more size

I didn't say Mitchell lost the game.

I said it was a bad shot. Come on now.

It was a bad shot.

I haven’t watched since the beginning of the second quarter so my opinion on this game is meaningless but I am wondering if 6-43 is the worst 3P shooting game in league history for that number of 3P shots.
Posted this earlier...

No...

The New York Knicks have the worst three-point percentage by a team in a game with 30+ three-point attempts, at 8.3 percent against the Raptors on December 31, 2020.

LOL no. No it isn't.

Tough loss but if we bring that effort every night we’ll win plenty. Cold shooting is tough to overcome against a quality opponent.
It kind of sucks that we play ALL of our games against the Bucks in the span of a month, and Mobley won't play in any of those games.
