we could look at Porter as the exact kind of rookie who needs development now specifically because his nba window is shorter since he spent more time in college. he has lost 3-4 years of development compared to other DFA.

I’m not supporting it.

I am saying, that in a vacuum, alone by itself, to suggest that a coach not playing a UDFA rookie regular rotation minutes is a fireable offense is dramatic hyperbole.

I said nothing of not criticizing the decision ot the man making the decision. He’s certainly worthy of criticism for that decision.

I'm confused why being a UDFA rookie has anything to do with this. Why is the Cavs best healthy PG who has shown to be very good not playing, especially when you watch the shit show lineup JBB just sent out there

that's fine. but you just typed "UDFA rookie" again, as if that somehow excuses the Cavs of mismanaging their player just because other teams have done it.

i would be interested in not putting that label over and over again on Porter because it sounds like a way to take the coach and GM off the hook.

they are on the hook with their young player, however they acquired him.
