If he does that and the rest of the rotation is healthy... We are definitely playoff bound with pitching alone...
Plus I don't believe Cleveland won't take one last stab at extending him... I doubt since he's so close to free agency, that he will take it, but heck, they will at least try...

If he's back, he will be worth far more at the trade deadline than he is now. IF they don't trade him, they will lose him for a QO draft pick only.

That draft pick though could be worth something in the sense of the value it could bring plus I am pretty sure it is tradable... I think Cleveland does want to win, and having a rotation of a healthy Bieber, TMac, Bibee, Williams and Allen... That's pretty legit... Williams in 24, would be our number 4. Plus I think having Barlow to help take stress off of Clase and Stephan would help give us that bullpen of 22 not 23... Also I think guys like Brennan will take a step forward, so I think our offense will be better in 24...

I don't see Bieber making it to the end of the year as part of the team. If he looks great in the Spring and they get a good offer, I think they move him. Rooting for the Dodgers to lose a starter in Spring Training and hit the panic button.

So, the whispers from about four weeks ago (whispers of getting up to 94/95) were valid and true.. An average of mid low 90's on the FB w/ the accompanying induced vertical movement is just nasty... If there was any question about Bieber's health.. this helps allay those concerns to a degree... It also says it might be a better time to consider an extension while it isn't fully confirmed that this 28 year old will need at least a 5 to 7 year contract that begins with the number "2" for his AAV (and quite probably mid 2's and above).. These numbers will already shut out the Guardians from consideration of an extension offer. Waiting now and going forward only raises that price.
What a bargain for a team to have a league ace at 13.3MM.. or a tradeable asset with the same value !!

I was one of few non-insider posters to say months ago that Bieber wouldn’t be trade much before season or wait to deadline. I knew he would build on 2 starts last year and our ask vs other teams injured adj bids would be far apart till ST buildup/looks. I even suggested to keep him if they didn’t offer enough ….

I'll be fascinated to see who Vogt picks as our opening day starter. Gonna go with the old standby of Bieber, or one of the younger kids? Maybe Bieber gets the home opener start?
I don’t see a contract that works now unless he does 2 to 3-year team friendly to get his $20+ million for 2 more years, don’t have to worry contract. He is 29 at end of May. He wants his long term contract soon. That is best for him after a 1-yr show how I came back year, this year. If Cleveland can do 3 year $55+ (13 plus 25 + 25), he may consider it. But, why not wait for 5 yr $125 mill after this year or 8-yr $200 career type contract? Think that is why he would sign w a team that trades for him. The trade me in ST/at deadline, sign by playoffs long-term and pitch carefree of injury then on…. And, if rumor/guess is true that McK almost got signed before an event, I would think the focus is on him and his heath to sign this year. That gives us 4 solid pitchers long term and Cantillo/Espino waiting for 5th spot

Could easily get both since they have a 10 game road trip to start the season.
If healthy and stretched … he goes. Shows more of leadership for year (help w youngster) and good thing if it is his last season . It is a for home opener on 11th game w 1 off day as Cal said above. So, he can if he gets opening day on road and opening day at home to get the standing O from sellout crowd as thank you to him for all he has done
