Thought this would be an interesting thread, if it needs to be combined with the LeBron wins MVP thread then that's fine.
Ernie poses the question: "How many MVPs will LeBron win?"
Chuck says 5.
Kenny says that the expectations are now that he should win 60 games, 25-30 points per night, etc, and that will hurt him and he'll end up with 3.
C Webb says "close to 5 or maybe more... I look at it this way, in the next 5-7 years, unless there's a new LeBron, which I wouldn't be on, it's only Kobe and Wade, maybe Dwight Howard or CP3."
Kenny: "the guys you don't expect could come in and get it, for example if Carmelo goes from 50 wins to 63 he could steal it, like Dirk got it one year now he doesn't even come close (paraphrased)"
C Webb: "The thing that's different about LeBron is that LeBron is the best all-around player since Magic, so even if he doesn't score 40 he still makes his team better, there's no other player like that."
Chuck (don't read if you don't want to hear NY): "I really hope LeBron stays in Cleveland, but if he goes to NY, he's going to recruit players to play there and he's gonna have one of the two or three best records every year, so it could be seven in NY but I hope he stays in Cleveland his entire career."
Personally, I don't agree with Kenny, what do voters expect besides the best record and being the best player on that team?
Assuming continued regular season success, I'd say 4-6.
