DUDE, that was my point is that even though Jamison fits our style a little better, I still like Iguodala for our team as well if we can get LBJ to play on the block more. I know he can guard the 4 or anybody's team. I'm saying that with a lineup that athletic, we would be tough to take down by just about anybody (which we already are so just imagine it being tough to contain us).

When I said "best 5 we could assemble" I wasnt being sarcastic.

Not that it matters, but Antawn just limped off the floor?

Don't know why you'd think it wouldn't matter, Jamison is still a top target for the Cavs to nab at the deadline.

Despite all the Iggy craziness going on, Jamison is still a perfect fit at the forward position for the Cavs.

Hopefully he's OK. He's always battled through injuries in his career, he's a true fighter. I expect him to be back in the game, honestly.

Like someone said, he's injured like every game. Guy is going to break down, and soon. Why would he be our top target...

Pretty much, and the Wiz are driving this guy into the ground, he's playing 39 minutes a game.

If we cannot get Z back in a Jamison trade, and assuming the trade is Z, Hickson, and a pick, I don't think I'd do it.

This team doesn't need a major addition. We've addressed our weakness of front court depth from last year and this trade could decimate it.

If Shaq get hurt, which is certainly not out of the question, you are left with Andy, Jamison, Powe (who might be worthless), and D-Block.

Is it really worth it just to get that big name with a bigger contract? Also, there isn't a guy on this team more deserving of a ring than Z. Trading him would make a championship feel slightly bittersweet.

Cavs really are in a tough spot. I agree with everyone here at some point or another when I start to think about this trade. There's just a ton to consider

- We could really use another piece to win a title, esp. if Lakers acquire someone else (like Hinrich)

- Not sure we'd want to give up J.J. or not get Z back for an aging Jamison, who really could start to break down at any moment.

- Would love Iggy, but do you want to trade a big for a small?

- Amare would be great, but how would he fit with Shaq and, more generally, with this team? Would he bolt after one year?

- This is very well could be the last time the Cavs have something to offer other teams - do they have to make a trade now?

- Do they have to make a trade to entice LeBron? Its not out of the question that he wants to see something get done before he commits.

Just way too much to consider. Feel bad for Ferry in a way. My gut tells me we should go hard after Iggy and go forward with a core of LeBron, Mo, and Iggy, and hopefully add a big man like Haslem somewhere down the line. Though I would understand a move for Jamison.

The Wizards might think that they are increasing his trade potential by playing him so much, but they are really killing it. Sure hes had 20 point and 15 rebound games but hes been hurt every other game and has his share of bad performances. They are wearing him out. I mean he has 5 fouls and still played 40 minutes, on a horrid shooting night, thats horrible

At this point I don't know why the Wizards are playing Jamison such heavy minutes. In Jan. he played 9 games of 42 minutes or more, logged 40 minutes or more in 11 of the Wizards 16 games and played 55 minutes in a double OT game against the Bulls. That's stupid for a player his age and in his 12th season. Since the Wizards are going nowhere why not give some of those minutes to Blatche or McGee?

Jamison becomes a little more of a risk now with some of these injuries starting to come up and the wear and tear of these minutes.
There's no way you give up Hickson and a #1 along with Z for him.
