I will believe it when I see it.
That gkketch is the owner of orangebloods.com. Who has broken every story in the recent days about colleges switching athletic conferences. He's legit.
Izzo said: "I feel bad that I can't talk. I feel good that I did what I had to do."
No shit? I think he was on ESPN (phone) talkin' about all that.
If Gilbert went to Boston for a face to face w/ Scott, maybe it's an attempt to lure Scott as an assistant head coach under Izzo. This gives Izzo a legit NBA presence on his staff and gives James his guy (per rumors)
Just a thought or I could be way off base

Izzo canceled golf in Lansing today. Very bad sign for msu.

A couple people (including myself) mentioned that yesterday. That would be sweet. DG shellin' out the big bucks!
Gotcha,
skimmed through the 50+ pages since I left work last night so I missed it
Interesting thought. Considering the money it'll take to get Izzo, that would be a huge investment in a coaching staff, as Scott isn't going to take a standard assistant manager's salary to come play second fiddle to a first time NBA coach. I'd like to see the pairing, but I'd be shocked.
