Are you weighing your food?
I went from 340 to 205 on OMAD. No strength training. Mad cardio tho. First two months all I did was eat 800 - 1300 calories while walking 3-5 miles a day. Lost around 30 lbs each month. After that I picked up boxing and Muay thai. Calories were much higher but i was working out 2-3 times a day. Point is, moving your body is OP.
gjdm would you say martial arts are better way to get in shape than eliptical/lifting and swimming?
Depends on what it is? There’s carbs in many vegetables… And fruits..How much vegies is too much?
what medicine did you stop taking? Are you on any meds..
After years of rigorous exercise, I was unable to get below 245.. I was taking a diabetes med, which causes weight gain. Switched to neutral med and dropped to 195.. all was in the stomach area. Still got to exercise. I cycle and do the peleton thing..
This seems counterintuitive but you may not be eating enough. It's only 1 meal a day and according to all the people on this forum you need to be in a caloric deficit to lose weight.
That meal can't be more than 900 calories, why am I not losing weight?
I'm 6'3 267 lbs.
This video got me motivated to get good at basketball again: I try to eat 3 times a day, smaller portions.

Not possible, if it's the green ones that aren't peas. How much vegies is too much?
This is not true. People successfully use intermittent fasting to lose weightWhen you eat one meal a day your body will panic and store fat. You are better off eating 5-6 small meals that still keep you calorie deficient. Cutting carbs will help tremendously and increase protien intake, it takes the body longer to break down protien and you stay full longer. Water is a huge key as well.
Nice so like I can do it. I'll go to the gym at 6am.This is not true. People successfully use intermittent fasting to lose weight
Eating less also barely slows down your metabolism per an earlier post, it is not a significant enough difference to matter
