Mark Cuban: What is a Zone Skip?

And Skip never answered that question .... never. OMG! He is a basketball analyst? Its not like he is a pretty chick either. How did he get the job?

Wow, the guy has now upgraded from self-congratulatory t-shirts to simply his face on them. Yeah, he's rapidly maturing...

Are we really going to do this?

Are we really going to do this?

I apologize if I opened an unwanted can of worms, but I just had a reaction of genuine disgust after seeing a grown man wearing a shirt with his own face on it. It's tough to celebrate that type of ostentatious behavior.

Well, if we wanted to get into the reasons he's a dick, this thread will never end... just sayin. :chuckles:

But you're fine with Rob Dyrdek wearing DC apparel? What about his cousin wearing Y&R apparel? What about when Jay-Z wore Rocawear?

LeBron's brand is himself. Do I agree with a person using themselves as a brand? No. But im not going to fault him for advertising his brand.

Last night had a calming effect for me. I was finally able to be a Cavs fan again (and not also a heat hater). This guy has made bad choices, yes. But stop picking at the scab. Its like the guy can't scratch his balls without being judged. It'd be wise to focus your attention on more important things.

Which is something people in this thread have done. :chuckles:

Reminds me of Auntie Nora.

Dude I would be wearing t shirts and shoes of myself all the time if I had that chance. That'd be awesome

I can honestly say I have never scratched LeBron's balls. I'm a fan, but jeez some of you guys take fandom to a whole new level.

Incoming 500 page thread on LeBron's maturity level. Oh wait, we have that one.

EDIT: More importantly, gratz the old white guy in the back of the picture. Way to hit the clubs at that age man.

Not sure if serious, but that is Micky Arison.. owner of the Miami Heat.. not really sure where else he'd be the night his team won an NBA championship. :chuckles:

Barkley speaking the truth

Here’s what Charles Barkley said on 106.7 The Fan in Washington D.C.
If you’re successful, a lot of people aren’t going to like you. That’s just the way it is. I always used to use this analogy: Everybody hates the homecoming queen because she’s pretty. All the ugly girls hate the homecoming queen. And all the dumb kids hate the smart kids. That’s just the way it is. LeBron James, first of all he has to take some responsibility [for] the way he did the stuff last year leaving Cleveland, the decision, coming on stage talking about not five, not six, seven championships. So he deserves some blame, but like I say, he’s a great kid, he’s a great, great player. … If you look at his résumé right now, the only thing he’s missing is a championship, and he’s gonna get that done [Thursday]. And no telling how many championships they’re going to win. … I wish he had stayed in Cleveland, because those fans in Cleveland, man, they’re fantastic. They don’t even have real fans here in Miami, they’re front-runners.

Barkley speaking the truth

It's just not about that to me. I live in Nashville, moved here slightly less than a decade ago, and today all I hear on sports radio is how his only bad thing was the "decision". Otherwise, people are sucking up to him like no one's business. No one cares that he never worked on his post-up, that we only got to see LeIso, that he only signed up longer for minimum terms to keep his options open or keep the Cavs at bay, that he never would give a commitment to let other stars know that Cleveland was a place worth going. No, he only pushed that he came from Akron, which is not technically Cleveland (but he is wrong, sorry Akronites). What they aren't remembering (or caring about if they are too blind to see), is if he did what he did this year, years ago with Cleveland, he may have already had a couple rings now. He didn't help bring anyone here. He basically told management to bring people in when there was not too much for the pickin', they really did the best they could - without his help, yet following his obvious demands. When it came to games, he trusted no one - hence, LeIso... on the last two years, best records in the East, yet... LeIso didn't allow it to get past that. He is being vindicated, simply because he finally got his dream..... sad.

I would give a person like that a chance to be liked by me, if...if, they could own up to their past, but this one is only about his future. Some of you can keep riding that, have fun, but me, I've got a new hope, his name is Kyrie.

I deleted some posts.

I don't expect this thread to be tasteful, but I don't have any problem banning (or sending on vacation) posters who just come across as being Heat-loving trolls. This is RCF not RHF or RLJF. If it just becomes a grudge-fest, I will shut the thread down.

Too bad that Scott Brooks didn't get more adventurous early in the series, too bad OKC completely screwed things up in game 2, and too bad that the role players in Florida (Battier, Miller, Chalmers, even Wade) gave LeBron all the support he needed. He has been a supreme idiot at many times, but the dude was great in the playoffs and the finals this year. I wish it didn't just make me think of the last series he played for the Cavs...
