2012 NFL Draft Rumor Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
please please please please please tell us puhhhhhhhhhlease

Totally fine with this deal. Guarantee us someone who will touch the ball 25+ times a game, and give up a 4th, 5th, 7th? Worth it

Chances you get a good NFL player out of 4,5 and 7 aren't real strong. I'm good with that pick. A friend and I have created a fantastic nickname for Rich that I just cannot share on the board, but wish I could so badly.

Why not? Gonna try to make something of it? Why tease?

Brandon Weeden. Now THAT is a typical Cleveland Browns pick. Way to waste a 1st round pick, H&H. That 20-year Rebuild Plan is right on schedule.

Really disappointed, was there really that much competition for a 28 year old QB that he wouldn't have lasted until the 2nd round. Could have got Riley Reiff and resolved our OL issues. At least the Cavaliers lost.

I'm so tired of the QB carousal, so what QB in 2014?

I suppose we should trust H&H. I really like Colt, but if BW is better I just want the Browns to win

Claiborne says he completed only 15-to-18 Wonderlic questions

Posted by Mike Florio on April 27, 2012, 12:47 AM EDT
One of the more surprising stores in advance of the draft related to the score generated by cornerback Morris Claiborne on the Wonderlic test. He scored only a four, and after being selected by the Cowboys with the sixth pick in the draft, he spoke about the test.

“That test don’t tell me who I am and what time of guy I am and what kind of ability I have,” Claiborne told SiriusXM NFL Radio, via USA Today. “That test can’t drop me.”

“They say it’s an IQ test,” Griffin added. “I came to the Combine for football. I looked at the test, and wasn’t any questions about football. I didn’t see no point in the test. I’m not in school anymore. I didn’t complete it. I only finished 15 or 18 questions.” :chuckles:

Claiborne’s attitude toward the test underscores the role of agent Bus Cook in the outcome. It was Cook’s job to prepare Claiborne for everything he encountered at the Combine, and to get Claiborne ready for everything — including the Wonderlic test.

By all appearances, Cook didn’t even tell Claiborne that he’d be taking a test of any kind at the Scouting Combine.

I changed my mind, I'm glad we didn't take him.

What a shit attitude to have. Fuck that guy.
