That would give the Rams Bridgewater, and he thinks they'd be open to a trade. I think the Rams would MORE than willing try to trade Bradford first. If fans don't think so, then they aren't thinking it through.
Rams don't need more picks, they need more talent. Two, why wouldn't you try to trade your QB that you signed to a 50 million dollar contract, coming off an ACL injury first?
Bridgerwater is cheaper. If they can get rid of Bradford and his huge salary, I don't know why they wouldn't and just draft Bridgewater. There's always one team desperate enough for a QB. Hopefully its not us that bites.
Release or trade Bradford and he still accounts for $10 million in dead money over the final 2 years of his deal. That has to be factored into the equation when measuring just how inexpensive Bridgewater is in comparison to Bradford.
